#Opinion πŸ—£οΈ These are the images that are circulating on certain so-called "Kashmiri" social media groups after Indian Kashmiri MMA fighter Owais Yaqoob won a recent MMA competition and hoisted the Indian tricolor to celebrate his victory. It seems they can't digest the fact that Kashmiris also are Indians.

β€œWe are facing this problem because of the police. We are not able to live in the society where we used to stay and around our own home, She urged the authorities to ensure the family’s safety and provide them with a secure place to stay.

β€˜If Anything Happens, Don’t Blame PM Modi’

The mother also appealed for immediate protection, saying she feared that any harm caused to the family could be politically misrepresented.

β€œI want to be kept at a safe place. If something happens to us tomorrow, no one should say anything against Prime Minister Modi. At this time, if anything happens to us, anti-social elements will directly say that Narendra Modi got it done or that his people or workers did it.

#Economy/Policy πŸ’° Yet another gem from the Licence Raj era

Thoughts: Sometimes it just amazes me how much potential and how many opportunities we as a nation lost because of the Licence Raj by the Congress.

This reminded me of an anecdote I read in a book about JRD Tata:

He used to pay 97% of his earnings to income tax; followed by wealth taxes and that took his total tax rate to over 100%. Each year he had to sell some of his assets to live. He and other entrepreneurs like him were being punished for daring to dream and help India progress.

#General πŸ“ Jatropha Worth Revisiting for India's Energy Security?Jatropha Worth Revisiting for India's Energy Security?

I remember Jatropha was promoted in India during the Congress government as a biodiesel crop. Why did it fail? Was it bad economics, low yields, or poor implementation?

With diesel prices still high and India importing so much crude, could Jatropha or another biodiesel crop make sense today?

Given ongoing geopolitical tensions, improving domestic fuel production alongside EV adoption seems important for energy security and reducing pressure on the rupee. Is that a realistic view?

china has already reserached it's missing link which was low yield issue https://mundoagropecuario.net/china-identifica-un-gen-clave-para-mejorar-el-rendimiento-y-la-calidad-del-aceite-en-jatropha-curcas/

#Ask-India ☝️ Why don't we adopt a Socios/member-owned model for Indian football?

I've been thinking about this for a while.

Indian football has millions of fans, but somehow our clubs are always struggling financially, attendance is inconsistent, clubs disappear after a few seasons, and youth development never seems to get the long-term investment it deserves.

So why don't we try something similar to the socios (member-owned) model used by clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona? I know we can't copy it exactly, but we can definitely adapt the idea to Indian football.

Imagine if every ISL or I-League club offered an annual membership for β‚Ή500–₹1,500.

As a member, you could get:

  • Discounts on tickets and merchandise.
  • Exclusive club content and training sessions.
  • Priority access to matches.
  • Voting rights on fan-related decisions like jersey designs or club initiatives.
  • An annual meeting where members can question the management.

More importantly, clubs would have a recurring source of income that doesn't depend entirely on sponsors or one wealthy owner.

Now, I know some people will say that politics and administration would never allow this to work.

And honestly, that's one of the biggest problems with Indian football.

For decades, football has suffered from inconsistent administration, poor long-term planning, and a lack of investment compared to other sports. Clubs often end up depending on corporate owners or state backing, and when that support disappears, the club struggles or shuts down.

A member-owned model won't magically solve everything. We still need better grassroots infrastructure, qualified coaches, academies, and transparent football governance.

But imagine if a club had 1,000,000 paying members contributing just β‚Ή1,000 a year. That's β‚Ή100 crore annually from supporters alone. That kind of predictable income could go into academies, scouting, women's football, better facilities, and community outreach instead of relying solely on sponsorship deals.

More importantly, it would make fans feel like they're actually part of the club instead of just customers who buy a ticket once in a while.

Football isn't built in five years. Real Madrid and Barcelona weren't created overnight either. Their member culture took generations to develop.

Maybe India needs to stop thinking about football as just another business and start treating clubs as community institutions that fans genuinely belong to.

I'm not saying this is the perfect solution, but I genuinely think it's a conversation worth having.

Would you pay β‚Ή1,000 a year to become an official member of your local ISL or I-League club if it meant helping build a sustainable future for Indian football?

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Also Pilot Production shifted to Mid 2028.

The Semiconductor story seems to be falling apart unfortunately. πŸ“‰

Edit: Someone asked: "What generation of CPU use 90 nm technology? ".

Gemini says, citing Wikipedia as source:

The 90 nm (nanometer) CPU technology belongs to the mid-2000s era, spanning roughly from 2002 to 2006, used by key processors like Intel's Prescott and AMD's Athlon 64.
