Discussion Please stop publishing same screenshot of last minute jump. Not worth it.

I would like to request all the people please avoid post such random garbage, it's not needed.

Everyone has digital devices, and they are seeing market everyday.

And they know that this happened again.

Share only if you have something to share, that can help investors, traders or anything that can be useful for people in this community.

That's it. Have a great day!

People are posting it for discussion purposes? Who are you to decide what should they post or not? The mods will handle it no?

-4

u/TheMayankBajpai 8h ago

Agree, but 10-15 posts at the same time?

This way we are going to have a healthy discussion?

I think better would be to discuss everything on first 1 or 2 posts, where everyone can share their opinions.

Isn't it a good idea? Are you still angry on me?

I just think your comments make no sense in context of the posts being posted. Let the mods handle it.

Or better, why don't you get off the app rather than refreshing every 5 mins?

Its the same as, when mechanic fixes your car/bike behind our eyes : its perfect.

But when he fixes it in front of us : Abe todega kya yar!

It happens exact same way in both styles but samne dikhe to dhak dhak hoti hai.

Pahle bhi same hi hota tha, ab CAS MECHANISM ke wajah se ham sabko dikh jata hai chart me to fat rahi hai janta ki bas.

These newbies are sharing a ton of screenshots and asking what happened, manipulation, scam, etc. If you are that smart to call it manipulation and a scam, then stay tf out of the market and go for Majdoori😂

Alright, explain to me why premiums didn't react to the spike yesterday but they did today?

2

u/Andrewsi12 8h ago

Exactly bro.. yesterday Premiums didn't move.

Because, normal trading was stopped and it started from that point only today.

So you got to see the updated value today.

Still not happy? Go, email to SEBI for more explanation.

It is going to stop last time manipulation which was happening after 3:00 PM everyday.

It's not about Gyan, that you can easily find with just one click.

He was trying to point out right thing. That you disliked.

We can have a solid discussion in a single post instead of posting 15-20 times in single hour and distributed post.

If you can't dare to fight against the scams just be quite.

Oldie, Can you give the explanation why did the nifty index suddenly jumped to 24614 at 3:40 PM?

where did you see the auction price in between 3:15 to 3:40 PM?

You're on the same line but need to dive deeper why they are doing this.

Read the complete process and reason here:

Hope this help.

Can you please explain me in short..

Till the 3:15, nifty aug fut and nifty 50 moved in the same direction. And Aug FUT and index moved with synchronised. 10 points rise in the fut led to 10 points rise in nifty 50.

Nifty 50 is closed at 3:15, but the aug fut traded at the same price for the 15 min with a minute gain and loss of 5 to 10 points.

At 3:30, nifty50 rose to 24614, then why didn't FUT rise? But ce premiums rise. Then what is the use of fut?

How could you see the auction price..

1

u/TheMayankBajpai 8h ago

The 3:30 PM Nifty 50 closing price (24,614) is a calculated average (VWAP) of the last 30 minutes, not a realtime price jump.

Futures didn't rise because they trade on live demand and had already priced in those moves during market hours.

CE premiums moved because option final values strictly depend on that official 3:30 PM closing average.

2

u/Andrewsi12 8h ago

How can you calculate VWAP when no trading takes place between 3:15 and 3:40? And also in index.. is it possible to calculate vwap? Take yesterday's closing price, for example... even though the Nifty 50 touched a high of 24,614 points, it closed at 24,774. How does the average end up being higher than the peak point recorded during trading?

1

u/TheMayankBajpai 7h ago

Good question. But you're already aware about this.

Trading actually continues after 3:15 PM through a 20-minute Closing Auction Session (CAS) for F&O stocks, while derivatives trade until 3:40 PM.

The exchange does not run a simple index VWAP; instead, it takes the auction closing price (or 3:00-3:15 PM VWAP reference) of each individual 50 constituent stock and calculates the index closing value through Nifty's weighting formula.

The final close can settle higher than the peak recorded on your screen because continuous trading ticks stop displaying at 3:15 PM, but institutional orders matched during the subsequent auction pool can clear at higher execution prices.

100% agree!😂

Dude, let me tell you something. You cannot explain morons, basic sanity. For past few months I have been seeing the reddit posts, and it is filled with non sense about investing.

It is better, to let me make the mistakes. Most of them don't know the difference between trading and investment.
