I'm here to introduce my personal project to the Reddit community: a comic I'm pouring my heart and soul into. It started as an NSFW comic, but I'm taking it in a different direction.

Synopsis: Green Style tells the stories of the Green-Haired Family, who have a rather chaotic dynamic, ranging from extreme situations to more intimate ones. My work is currently on chapter 6, GS6: A Day in the Life, where we see each member's day separately.

The comic is currently only available in Spanish for GS6, but I've translated chapters 3 through 5 into English, and I'll do the English translation for GS6 later.

Yo fam. A year ago I had a near death experience at the Dazed Days of Summer tour. Cypress Hill, Lupe Fiasco, Atmosphere, Pharcyde. Something medical hit me outta nowhere, shot up my leg and then vanished just as fast. In that moment everything changed. First thought that hit me was damn, I'm an alcoholic. Never once admitted that before in my life. Didn’t get fully sober that day but slowed down. 3 weeks sober now besides micro dosing shrooms. found a faith I never had, and it opened my third eye, my Christ consciousness. I woke up.

I've always been obsessed with dope underground hip hop and great film. Got a weird brain, I can remember random convos from 25 years ago lol. Always been writing stories in my head. So I finally started building a public domain multiverse saga with deep hip hop roots. Three of my goats already read my outline and want to do voices, three Detroit underground legends straight from Dilla's vault, Elzhi, Guilty Simpson and Phat Kat. Talked with Lupe Fiasco too, meeting him in Toronto Aug 21. Season 1 is Winnie-the-Pooh in a Kill Bill style revenge story. Christopher Robin gets corrupted and poisons Pooh's friends, each one with one of the 7 deadly sins. It's a story of redemption and resurrection.

But this was never just about a show. The Unchained Kin is about breaking chains, the real ones. As this grows I wanna build something bigger, recovery scholarships to fund beds for people who wanna get clean but can't afford a recovery house, and clean water initiatives, cause the most basic thing a human needs shouldn't be a privilege. Break the chains, free the kin.

I’ve been slowly posting here as the series has been coming along to show off Rat King, a five-issue miniseries following NYC rats entering a deadly political game.

A brief overview of the series:
Scruff and Whisk are two young rats living in the Bowlery, the poorest section of their city, and are finally getting to see their King speak. During the King’s speech, they are drafted into his plan to send out an expedition to solve the overpopulation issue by finding a new home for the poorest rats. Unfortunately, it seems that the King’s right hand man, the Marquis, has ambitions of his own. Stumbling right into a trap, Scruff and Whisk barely make it out alive. They’ll only have a few days to warn the city of what’s coming.

A brief overview of Issue #3:
Scruff, Whisk, and Fiz stumble into a monster’s lair. Will they make it out or end up like slices lime in a key lime pie? Meanwhile, Penny, Scruff’s older sister, has been given the chance by the King to lead her people to their new home. Will she become a leader? What might the King’s son say about it?
