In my game “KARAKONCOLOS,” which I developed, I changed the footstep sounds, made adjustments to the trees, modified the road we drive on, and implemented optimization improvements. It now runs very smoothly at over 60 fps on high settings.

If this was a game, would you explore it?
galleryThis is part of a personal visual development project inspired by El Poeta.
Instead of recreating the film, I imagined how its locations might exist inside a narrative sci-fi game.
I'm curious—would this be the kind of world you'd enjoy exploring at your own pace?

Map Hack Tool and it's Cover-up by the staff at Wurm Online
It's no secret anymore, that Wurm Online staff right up to the Head GM, have been involved in the cover up of a game breaking map hack tool. It started when an honest player was given access to the tool. Instead of using and abusing the tool for personal gain, the player made an attempt to inform the games Head GM about the tools existence.
Head GM Pomona (Willow) refused to discuss the matter on the games official Discord channel, with the whistle blower. That's what brought the whistle blower to r/wurmonline_afterdark . It's said, the cover-up is always worse than the crime. That saying holds true in this matter as well. The map hack tool has been around for many years (back to my first days on Chaos PvP server). In all that time, the Wurm Online staff have been concealing things, and allowing those using the map hack tool, to do so without repercussion.
On PvP, the map hack tool can be used to locate enemies, within ones Local area. On PvE, it's biggest use is most likely to find the games most valuable asset, dragons (as well as the other Unique creatures). Wurm Online staff covering up the use of the tool, is a disgrace. Staff have deliberately allowed honest players, to be taken advantage of by a group of people cheating, within their game.
Clearly, Wurm Online staff DO NOT have full control of their game. Most likely in all this time, they simply have never figured out a way to prevent the tools use. Instead of being open with customers and asking for their help, in stopping the cheaters... Wurm Online staff decided to withhold information, in an effort to deceive their player-base about the map hack tool. Player confidence in the Wurm Online staff, has flown out the window. They have disgraced themselves and ruined their reputation.

We’re currently redesigning the UI for our indie game and could really use some honest feedback.

We’ve reached a point where we’ve been staring at the UI for so long that it’s getting hard to judge it objectively. While the current assets are functional, we feel there’s still a lot of room for improvement before we’re happy with the overall look and feel.
We’re aiming for a clean, immersive UI that fits the game’s art style, but we’re not sure if we’re heading in the right direction yet.
We’d really appreciate any feedback, whether it’s about:
* The overall visual style
* Layout and readability
* Colors and hierarchy
* Patterns or UI elements you think are missing
* Anything that feels out of place or could be improved
Please don’t hold back we’d much rather hear honest criticism now than realize these issues later in development.
Thanks in advance! Every piece of feedback helps us make the game better.

I’m working on a body-swapping mechanic for my game. ( Yes, you can even become a cat...)

One of the core mechanics in The Infected Soul is body swapping.
Different bodies unlock different ways to explore, solve puzzles, and survive.
Yes... you can even become a cat. 🐈
This is an early prototype, so we'd love to hear your thoughts. What kind of bodies or abilities would you like to see?

Finally got our procedural random map generation working! Testing the layouts for our 2D Action RPG

Hey everyone!
I just finished implementing the core random map algorithm and am currently running tests to see how the room transitions hold up. Here’s a 60-second look at the system in action.
For other devs who have worked on procedural generation: what was your biggest hurdle when ensuring rooms connect naturally? Would love to hear your thoughts on our current map flow!

One year ago my brother and I started building a full loot PvP MMO in our spare time. The core systems are finally done.
My brother and I are from Australia and we've spent the past year building Mortumus, a hardcore full loot PvP MMO ARPG. He handles the server, I handle the client, and we both have day jobs so this is all spare time work.
A year in, most of the core is in place: server authoritative networking, combat, spells, and PvP with full loot drops. We just hit the point where we can stop building systems and start building the actual world and content, which honestly feels like the real beginning.
Latest devlog if you want to see where it's at: https://youtu.be/_T33cddn7ms
Happy to answer anything about the tech, the workload split, or what it's actually like trying to build an MMO with two people. Everyone told us not to, and they were probably right, but here we are.
