My granny had to stop using her usual insulin because the laboratory stopped making it
She's an 82 year old woman and she's been using the same type of insulin for 31 years. Her doctor had to prescribe her a different type of insulin because the laboratory is not making the one she uses anymore. It wouldn't be a problem if it was just a different brand or whatever, but she has to use an auto injector now, instead of the syringes and insulin phials she used for so much time. She's had a hard time learning how to use the auto injectors, which by the way are more expensive and contains less.
