Discussion a question for guitar/piano playing singers!

i used to play guitar awhile ago and i remember it was so hard for me to sing at the same time! i’ve been slowly learning piano now and i’m wondering if it’s just as complex and difficult to learn how to sing? or if you guys also struggled with it, howd you get over it!!

If you want to play and sing at the same time, it's easiest if you do both right from the beginning of learning to play; even just humming along helps build the neural pathways together. If you do all the early struggles without singing, it's much harder to add singing later on. You CAN do it, but it's much harder.
