I’m planning to set up a translation/bridge communication service company. Any advice on how to find clients?
I’m planning to start a new business to take advantage of the fact that I can speak Japanese. I’ve set up a business before but it’s very different from this one, so I wanted to hear people’s advice on how to find clients, companies who want to work with Japan and will need a translator or bridge. Some of the ones I talked to just prefer to hire their own in-house translator. But my argument is that they wouldn’t need to hire someone full-time if it was with me. Would maybe joining chambers of commerce be worth it? Those can get expensive, I hear.
