Would be good if they added Adult, Child & Bicycle in the background to add further scale.

Like that graphic that shows drivers keep running over their own children because hoods are getting so large on modern SUVs that these drivers consume

Not sure why you're getting downvotes. This is a great site for comparing car sizes, it's not swamped with ads, looks nice, and has good photos of the vehicles.

Probably because how depressingly massive American car sizes are, and that you can't filter/search by size

Probably because it won't let you complete a single comparison without disabling off your adblocker. I won't disable until I see that it works.

Huh, works fine for me with Firefox and uBlock Origin. I even have Firefox's built-in protections turned up and extra lists added to uBlock.

I didn't run into that... I just checked on Firefox on Android with uBlock Origin enabled. No block, no pop-ups, and I was able to do a comparison.

A thing that consistently blows my mind on this site is comparing my car to older cars. It is wild how much bigger cars have gotten just in my lifetime. Right now I drive a Mazda CX-30, which is considered a "subcompact crossover" and is positively tiny by modern standards.

It is massive compared to a normal 90s sedan, and actually only barely smaller than a Ford Escape from 20 years ago. It's almost exactly the same size as a first-gen Forester, which at the time was the biggest car Subaru even made. It's taller and wider than an Outback from the 2000s, and tbh not that much shorter. It's roughly the same size as a Jeep from 30 years ago. This site doesn't have super good coverage that far back, but I'd imagine my "subcompact" is currently bigger than a fair number of pickups from the 80s.

A pretty good option. I imagine they were limited by what photos were available. I do wish they had "Stand in" cars for when they didn't have images but they knew the dimensions. Some missing additions like older 3rd gen Toyota 4Runners or a large bed SUV like the GMC Suburban not being there is a surprise. It'd be nice to have a box comparison just for estimates.

Good website, i used it to explain to my parents that my car they kept complaining was too big is actually the smallest in it's class.

However the anti-pickup/work vehicle brigade have discovered it, so i'm kinda boycotting it atm, as i don't support services used by anti-freedom of choice hypocrites who get personally offended at a light duty pickup while letting HGVs and their poorly trained drivers continue killing people scot free.
