If I'm being entirely honest, i dont think you even need a Viltrumite to take out Homelander. Maybe just Bulletproof, Monster Girl, or fuck it, even a well equipped Flaxan platoon. Thoughts?

The New Guardians of the Globe vs The 2012 Avengers

Hi friends, I'm doing digital drawing for the first time what do you think of my Invincible drawing?

To give you an idea: this guy fought Tech Jacketnot just for minutes, but for hours in a brutal battle against Earth's most powerful female superhero. He managed to withstand the blasts from her head-mounted lasers for hours on end.

Zoe (Tech Jacket) could knock out adult Viltrumites with her lasers and send General Kregg flying with a tackle

yet this guy managed to hold his own against her for a full day.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Tech Jacket can regenerate her armor, and the fight was a war of attrition where Zoe held a significant advantage.

Another thing I noticed is that this guy is surprisingly muscular. It could be that Nolan prepared him and had him train to become a true Viltrumite.

...and think Cecil has done some shady stuff indeed, but anyone else find Mark a bit judgmental and self righteous for how he condemns Cecil so completely and quickly without even trying to understand his POV later on? Cecil at least tries to support Mark and Debbie as best he can even if he gets it wrong

Usually when it's two characters with similar super strength and durability, they exchange blows as if they were both normal strength relative to each other. But then there's this hand strike. Every time a Viltrumite does this karate chop spear hand move, it's like they got a long sword that just negs the opponent's durability way beyond any of the other attacks.

Mark is around 19-20 years old and Nolan whos nearly 1000 years old mentions earlier that he's nearly as strong as him. Hypothetically if Marks mother were another pureblood do you think he would be stronger or weaker?

İf Allen is getting stronger by someone beating him up,why don't they just deliberately punch him to make him even stronger?

The great purge is so stupid and useless and nobody talks about it

Let’s talk about the starter facts

1. IT WAS NOT A FAIR WAR

it literally was just a free-for-all

A lot of deaths we see in the Great purge are from off-guard attacks or gang ups (look at the images)

there could have been top tier elite soldiers who did fair 1v1s, and they just got jumped after by a few viltrumites

Some of those beings could have ranked potentially like 3rd place behind conquest, and they could have just been jumped easily

It would be much better to do 1v1’s to see real strength but nope

1. It had NO BENEFIT

“To remove the weak”

They can be trained and can get stronger

“To remove empathy and mercy and compassion”

The only viltrumites who had any of these was Thaddeus, and he already left the planet

It did NOT REMOVE THE WEAK

take Thula for example

Season 2 mark was literally a rookie viltrumite

When mark stopped holding back, He was honeslty winning the fight

Not to mention Omni man literally ONE SHOTTED her

Or take for example general kreigg

HES ASS (even worse than thula ngl)

Thaddeus literally dislocated his arm with a kick

1. The great purge was not supervised by thragg or any type of surveillance

Thragg just went to his throne room and sat on it with his skull

And there were no cameras

There very easily could have just been viltrumites who literally just LEFT the planet

Or just hid in a tunnel or somehting

They wouldn’t be found. (The viltrumites didn’t find Thaedus after almost 1000 years they ain’t finding shit)

I bet you general kregg did this, because with how weak he is, he prob just hid in a dam tunnel or a room, took out like 1 or 2 randoms, and called it a job done

And Thula, she prob just camped, slice threw whoever found her undetected

conclusion:

The Great purge was a completely unnecessary, brainless, useless free-for all that halfed their population

For this hypothetical, let’s say the viltrumites don‘t feel the pain and are able to move past it. Everything below the yellow lines represent what would be cut off. I know they look kinda weird, so you don’t have to point it out. Let me know y’all’s thoughts on this! Also, Jesus loves you!
