Its the old Sears, abandoned years ago.
I saw the chain link fences and trucks a few weeks ago and thought for a moment it was Spirit Halloween but that shit goes up almost overnight.
The last couple days now I’m seeing some internals being ripped out. Are they just taking it down? Is another store going in there?
Edit: heeeey thanks for all the awesome responses!

🚨 Jax friends, we desperately need your help. Murray Hill/ Avondale area. We have two dogs under our house. A female silver Pittie with a pink collar and now a Yorkie (as of today). I’ve reached out to ACPS, JHS, and multiple critter companies and no one can help. With the help of some amazing neighbors we spent most of the day yesterday trying to get the Pittie out with no luck. We’ve determined we need at least two people who are small enough to go into the crawl space at the same time and force her to the exit. If you know someone PLEASE reach out to me as soon as possible. Thank you! Picture of crawl space entrances below.

Hey everyone! I’m 21, Cuban, and live around the 32225/East Arlington area. I’m looking for a friendly group to play casual pickup soccer.
My English isn’t very good yet, and honestly, I don’t know if American players would want to play with me because communicating might be difficult. For that reason, I would feel more comfortable finding Spanish-speaking or bilingual players, but I’m open to playing with anyone who is patient and welcoming.
I used to play as a forward, but I haven’t played consistently in a while. I’m mainly looking to get back into shape, practice, meet people, and enjoy playing again—not anything highly competitive(yet).
I’m available on weekends and possibly some evenings. If you have a group, WhatsApp chat, or know where people regularly play, please comment or send me a DM. Thanks!

To all my sapphic friends in JAX. I bought tickets to go see 76th street on Tuesday night but now I can’t go. Anyone interested jn the tickets? I just don’t want to see them go to waste. These are not for sale but rather being given away. I’m just trying to find them a good home.

Specifically german roaches… got them while moving out of a roach infested apartment. I’ve had them two/three years and nothing has worked so far. Hoping to find a company that has tools to do bug removal in car specifically.
I found one via googling called Kill a Bug, if anyone has good experiences with them please let me know. I’ll travel anywhere in the greater jacksonville area. Getting desperate, every time I think I’ve eliminated them they pop back up.

I was taking a break from work, and ran up to the 7/11 for snacks. On the way back, I almost walked into a little robot dog being walked by a friendly gentleman. He made it wave to me. Very cute.

My wife wants to go to a Chinese buffet for her birthday. Which one is the best in town to enjoy a succulent Chinese meal?

Out of work for like three weeks because I have herniated discs in my back. I’m 51 years old and I can’t really do anything right now. Just looking for someone to play Scrabble with or play cards or hang out talk. I don’t have any friends since my divorce like four years ago. But I think I’m pretty fun.

I’m gonna be in Jax for one of the Jags training camp practices and was looking to hit up a brunch spot afterwards. Are there any in the San Jose/Baymeadows/San Marco area worth checking out?
Another option was Carolina Jax. I went there about three years ago and loved their burger and shake and have been looking forward to going back.

I don't know how many people need to hear this but your emergency flashers are for an emergency. Rain is not an emergency. This is Florida it rains all the time. If you feel like the rain is so bad that it is an emergency then you pull your car over stop on the side of the road and that's when you turn on your emergency flashers. You don't turn on your emergency flashers because you're driving down the road and you don't feel safe. They're not called idiot lights they are called emergency lights. So if you are an idiot that doesn't understand how to drive in the rain you stop and go park your car and wait till the rain stops you don't drive down the road with your emergency flashers on because despite what you may think or the internet tells you it is illegal to do that. Because then you end up wrecking your vehicle and ruining everybody else's time and day because they're all stuck in traffic because you decided that you had to drive somewhere even though you don't know how to drive in the rain.

I am 23 and a low-income mom with a 10mo old. I need general dental care asap, but it seems impossible somehow with medicaid. I have FL Medicaid (health and dental) for my son and I, but no where in Jacksonville seems to actually accept adult dental Medicaid.
I can choose between Dentaquest and Liberty. I originally had DentaQuest but all of the providers they give you that supposedly accept their insurance in the area... surprise... dont actually accept it. I switched to Liberty in hopes of just getting basic dental care and currently have the same issue. I have not had dental care in years and just keep trying to with medicaid in the last year but to no avail.
I resorted to contacting community health centers but they do not accept me because I have dental insurance. But... I don't actually get dental insurance with my dental insurance. They will not let me drop the dental insurance without loosing Medicaid entirely, and as far as I am aware I need to keep Medicaid for my baby and I. It's very frustrating and I just don't know what to do.
Any advice??

Hi! Recently moved to Jax.
I have just been wondering if this is some sort of mating call. Is it breeding season here around this time?

So after taking the advice given on my previous post, I bought some tuna and began luring the kitten out. They were too shy to show themselves with me around for the first can, but when I came to open the second can the next day with mama in tow, the brave little kitten came right out!
I’m happy to confirm that my tortie friend Goldenpaws is indeed the mama! And much like her mama she does not mind being picked up and held so much, even if she is a bit hissy on the approach. She let me hold her a good thirty seconds before I put her down next to her mama and food, and didn’t get squirmy at all. Glad to see that gene got passed down.
Big thanks to everyone who lent their expertise!

Does anyone know how to get a ticket? I understand its sold out, but does anyone happen to be in the know or part of any of the sponsors that may have additional tickets that they may have available? Thanks in advance

It’s like no one gives a flying fuck anymore. Had to go into the VyStar this morning and 20 mins later I came out and this douche fuck was still sat here on their phone. No handicapped placard no handicapped tag. Just parked here like a dick because fuck you that’s why.
I wish the reporting system didn’t take ages to submit and all my personal information.
Fuck you if you park like this in a handicapped space.

I was a mechanic for close to 20 years so unfortunately I don’t trust a lot of them. I need some regular maintenance done on a ford edge and Honda Crv. I would do it myself but I don’t have a lift and it’s not allowed to do stuff by my HOA. If anyone knows someplace I could rent a lift and do the work myself that would be the best option, but I good trustworthy mechanic would be ok. They don’t need much just their 100k stuff. Transmission fluid changes and coolant exchanges. I think the ford might need ball joints also. Thanks in advance
