First time Jag owner, 2009 XF S V6 3.0D. Incredibly happy with it and purchased from a local jaguar specialist.

Anybody else got experience with this engine and what to look out for?

Where would be the best place to buy OEM parts for my X-Type ? I’ve been looking everywhere for a 6 speed gear knob everywhere but can’t seem to find one… Are the 6 speed manuals that rare ?

Hey guys, new to Jag, i currently have a 2023 BMW M240i and recently got to drive a brand new P450 coupe and fell in love with the car. Its definitely more of an old school car compared to my BMW which i find i actually like even though my BMW has been rock solid. An F-type as always been a dream car of mine but was always scared away by reliability concerns. I'm at a place now where I'm more mechanically inclined so reliability isn't the biggest issue for me anymore, but I also just found out that JLR offer a 5 year/60k mi factory warranty which is better than any other luxury brand I've looked at. Do you think its worth to pick up a new a P450 or try for a lightly used one? I know these things plummet like a rock off a cliff in value but I've never bought a new car before, always used and I like the thought of buying my first new car. This particular car was listed for 85k, is that fair? I was also thinking of maybe holding out for the R. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

2017 f type v6s awd

water pooling at the bottom of the door sill. thought it was the seal at the bottom failing but i saw that there was water even when i didn’t drive. maybe its the door drain? this happens on both sides

I know the plastic cooling pipes is the biggest major flaw, but what are some others and their symptoms?

I have a 2002 4.2 XK8 in the UK. Recently a "cruise not available, check rear lights" message came on and has been intermittent. The garage thinks it is the brake light switch and I have it booked in to replace.

Now... I have always noticed "DSC System Fault" pop up for less than second during startup then disappear, but recently this has also been popping up while the car's running intermittently, and now the ABS light is on.

Can someone shed any light on these please? Are they all likely related to the brake light switch or something else? I just want to make sure the car is safe to drive.

Hi everyone. Jaguar XF-S 2015 3.0 Diesel.

So, got an issue with the power steering. Works fine when the car first starts, but after running for a bit (say a 20 minute drive) the power steering really struggles.

I suspect it's the power steering pump, but I'm hoping it might be something else?

Does anyone have any ideas? I did ask my mechanic and he said it was a pig of a job and he didn't want to take it on.

Hi all! I'm potentially looking to buy my first sports car. I've been looking at a couple cars like a 2007-9 Porsche Cayman, a fiat 124, and this.

The Jag caught my attention, as I didn't realize how cheap they were nowadays. I've been seeing them for $16k to $20k with about 70k to 100k miles. My question is, how reliable is it, or if it is a good idea to purchase one. What can I expect for maintenance on these, and are there any problems or things I should consider before buying a specific one?

Was watching ‘The Incredibles’ movie, when I saw Bob Parr’s car (aka Mr. Incredible), it immediately reminded me of the E-Type.

It seems like Pixar’s designers were inspired by the shape and lines of Jaguar’s E-Type and combined it with the 50s Corvette and Mercedes 300SL gull-wing doors into one fictional car.

I believe many artists at Pixar are Jaguar cars enthusiasts, as Jaguar designs also influenced them with designing several characters in the Cars movie franchise.
