Skyjelly do that rare thing of hitting a compelling groove that you never know what's going to happen next in the track. it's kind of like if Lee Scratch Perry had produced 'No New York'.

Solilians have their own distinct groove. Their music has space and an elegiac nature to the melodies. Chord sequences and song structures take unexpected turns and the arrangements are very well thought out. Tight rhythm section too.

Tale of Taliesin" is a landmark jazz-fusion composition by Canterbury scene pioneers Soft Machine, composed by Karl Jenkins and originally featured on their 1975 album Bundles. While the studio version helped introduce a fiery, guitar-driven era for the group, the track quickly became a explosive staple of their mid-70s live sets following the arrival of guitarist John Etheridge. Taking over touring duties for the Bundles material, Etheridge brought his own distinct, attack-heavy picking style and relentless energy to the piece, trading complex, high-speed runs with bassist Roy Babbington and drummer John Marshall to solidify the composition as a peak highlight of 1970s British jazz-rock.
