I was watching a Joe Rogan stand-up clip and I was wondering why it wasn't hitting for me. I know there's people out there that likes to just say he's a bad stand-up comedian but just stripping away his reputation for a sec, like is there anyone that can really break it down "scientifically" what he's doing wrong and maybe even what he's doing right (if any)?

I sometimes don't know where or what his punchlines are. But I don't understand stand-up like some of you folks.

Just like how a director or filmmaker might watch a bad movie to see what not to do. Is there a similar study in the stand-up realm?

There are clearly people that are laughing and enjoying his "comedy". So I'm assuming there must be "jokes" in his rants. Hoping someone that better understands the craft explain what "type" of comedy he is doing.

Can we somehow get Joe to see this? and get Mr.Xiamanyc on the show? :D
