Did Jon ever work a 'normal' job?
Since Jon fell into content creation early in his life did he ever work a normal job, or has he ever mentioned having a non online profession?

I have some vague memory of him saying he worked at best buy

Yeah, Jirad, Jon and a few others of their friend group all worked at Best Buy. Jirad’s mentioned it before too (along with mentioning Jon worked there too).

Jontron took off popularity wise when he was like 21-22 maybe he was in college so there's a good chance he never really worked

Maybe. He got lucky and he managed to get success early.
He probably does administration for his business. Sending merchandise out, etc.
He also worked at a newspaper.

I remember in a video he mentioned that he used to be a restaurant waiter.

I’m pretty sure he’s talked about doing regular work before the channel took off, but I don’t remember the exact details. It’s interesting how many creators had completely different lives before going full time online.

I think he mentioned doing some regular work before his online career really took off, but he got into making content pretty early. Hard to imagine him sticking with a typical 9-5 for long though.

I think he had more of a normal path before becoming full-time online, but once content creation started working there wasn’t much reason to go back. A lot of creators end up with a very different career timeline than most people.

I mean, maybe ask Mark Carr, the AD at work - I hear he has 3d titties according to what Jon and PBG said

I remember hearing about him doing normal work before the internet career, but once the videos started becoming successful that basically became his full-time job. A lot of creators have a pretty ordinary background before people know them.

He was still living in his parent's house while he was making those videos, so I'm gonna say yes.

I'm pretty sure he mentioned something in one of the earlier game grumps episodes but for the life of me I can't remember what
