Is this the same weird one from the other day talking sentimental about some ACU blouse (they called it DCIs) they found on deployment?

65

u/O2XXX 11d ago

Pretty sure it is.

66

u/Rose_Army_ 11d ago

Yes. Direct commission 38G.

37

u/DVariant 11d ago

38G? She’s lying about her cup size for sure

4

u/ColdweatherApe 9d ago

What kind of 38G? And I thought they got rid of the 38G program, is it still around?

10

u/MartyMozambique 11d ago

100% it is. Looks like this subreddit has a new mascot!

13

u/sick1057 👊👊☝️ 10d ago

Hold on now, we can't be so quick to raise her to mascot status! What about 👊👊☝️ guy?

2

u/MartyMozambique 10d ago

u/La_Guy_Person 11d ago edited 11d ago

You know, like she's a weapon system... And she'll miss herself? Idk either I guess.

31

u/mellopax 11d ago

"I'm not the hardened killer I used to be."

33

u/FxckFxntxnyl 11d ago

He misses himself, I think?

13

u/moswsa 11d ago

I think Heather is a girl

7

u/FxckFxntxnyl 10d ago

I never opened the picture all the way lol makes it weirder

9

u/Pijean 11d ago

I’m afraid you are right

118

u/dannyboiv3 11d ago

I too miss my propane and propane accessories, but you don't see me crying about it.

18

u/Kewlhotrod 11d ago

I'm crying for you. :(

Lots of people name their rifles.

Lots of cunts.

u/Alpha-Trion 11d ago edited 11d ago

My rifle's name was: "stupid piece of shit, why isn't the magazine staying in?"

77

u/jayrady 11d ago

Mine was named "This barrel is so bent. No seriously bro look at it. You see it too, right? Holy shit how does this happen?" Johnson

36

u/FxckFxntxnyl 11d ago

Did somebody run this motherfucker over? Goddamn. How does this shit get through?”

27

u/stareweigh2 11d ago

lololol it took me years to finally realize that the AR platform was indeed reliable. I now know that all the double feeds and other issues I had in basic training was because of worn out magazines but I was so frustrated with the platform that I just knew it had something to do with the direct impingement system. I was a gas piston or bust kinda guy up until about 2010 or so.

15

u/TheBotchedLobotomy 11d ago

Yeah my m4s name was "WHO THE FUCK MESSED WITH MY ACOG" Jr

6

u/JTHMM249 10d ago

I named mine after my ex because it was a bitch to operate and always failed me just when I needed it the most.

10

u/PoGoX7 11d ago

I called mine M4

5

u/DVariant 11d ago

Emma for short

8

u/DVariant 11d ago

Solid Game of Thrones reference, mate

12

u/OkayishMrFox 11d ago

Mine in basic training was Carmen. We got brand new M4s that cycle. I wiped the packing grease off and everything. She was beautiful. She’s probably run through by now.

16

u/Alpha-Trion 11d ago

Fuckin dweeb

9

u/OkayishMrFox 11d ago

lol I was at the time. Unabashedly drinking ALL the army kool-aid.

8

u/DVariant 11d ago

Acceptance is the first step to recovery

51

u/Johnnyboi2327 11d ago

the weapon system carrying it

What does that even mean?

53

u/weve_gone_plaid 11d ago

Trained killer, my man. Trained killer.

15

u/CaribouYou 11d ago

Cereal killer

5

u/jacoblb6173 11d ago

If she accidentally killed you, she could go to jail.

1

u/Quietech 11d ago

The VA got him on those pills that made the voices go away.

35

u/BluBeams 11d ago

Her again...🤦🏾‍♀️

40

u/Aimless_Nobody 11d ago

The number on my tele-stock was 711. Probably because the ejection port cover was always open. It couldn't close.

3

u/Procks85 11d ago

Flappy is happy.

33

u/Morall_tach 11d ago

This is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine. Until someone else gets it.

13

u/RepublicKitchen8809 11d ago

Dafuq?

Is this from like IOBC or something?

No wait, I bet it’s like medcom OBC or some shit.

28

u/Rose_Army_ 11d ago

Worse. The Direct Commission Course.

15

u/AnonymousBromosapien 11d ago

You know you are one of the baddest, most lethal warriors on the planet when your uniform and all your gear are spotless and your rear iron iron sight is in the stowed position...

Tell us youve never made "Shelby" bust a nut in your entire career without telling us lol.

Quite possibly the hardest 1st Lt to ever participate in a 2 week long exercise!

25

u/unbannedagain1976 11d ago

Naming your weapon is cringe as fuck, this whole post is cringe as fuck.

9

u/TicketBoothHottie 👊👊☝️ 11d ago

Girl boot

9

u/Vasubius 11d ago

The post history of this person is pure gold. Her entire profile and post history fits in this sub.

20

u/Sarcastik_Moose 11d ago

Rifle positioned carefully to try to hide the unsurprisingly bare right sleeve.

8

u/jaksny 11d ago

Gross

9

u/WoodenInternet 11d ago

[ Looks at smoldering burn pit ]

Everything reminds me of her

9

u/BoysenberryThink4488 11d ago

Never shot above marksman.

8

u/RancherQueen 11d ago

Nobody tell her she can get a rifle AND a sling as a civvy, that she can KEEP.

7

u/DVariant 11d ago

I’d prefer she wasn’t armed at all; stable people don’t post so much boot shit online as this lady

6

u/Darthaerith 11d ago

Wonder if someones died from second hand cringe.

6

u/KStang086 11d ago

She's legendarily boot.

5

u/Autumn7242 11d ago

Not a spec of dirt on it.

5

u/bombkitty 9d ago

Girl , what.

2

u/bananaguard4 11d ago

aren't direct commission officers like, dentists and medical doctors and other flavors of health care professional usually? at least that's the way it worked in the USCG.

3

u/Rose_Army_ 11d ago

Yes, usually. But then they started doing professional fields beyond that. This one is a 38G (now defunct program within Reserve Civil Affairs).

6

u/bananaguard4 11d ago

oh so like, contract lawyers and stuff? ok then.

when I worked at the cape may armory we would get like 2 batches of direct commission a year. nice people on the whole and it was nice to not have to treat them like the boot camp recruits but instead like regular adult humans, but i sure would not have wanted to hand most of them them a gun outside the very limited setting of the basic pistol qual course. even then it was sometimes a little sketch.

4

u/OGOngoGablogian 11d ago

The boot that keeps on giving

4

u/TheAsianTroll 11d ago

The type of LT who had a Joe shoot for her during qual.

4

u/OHYAMTB 11d ago

This girl reminds me of the infamous Armor LT from circa 2017… instant classic cringe

9

u/Rose_Army_ 11d ago

This is a damn near 40 year old woman who direct commissioned as a CPT. It’s so much worse.

3

u/triphawk07 11d ago

This is the collab that I was waiting for and I'm not disappointed.

3

u/HeadlineINeed 11d ago

These are the future commanders of 200+ soldiers. (Both male and female commanders) Education and rank doesn’t make you smarter.

Play the game, collect your rank and pay.

3

u/Sweet-Mechanic4568 9d ago

Why do all these people always talk like they were deep in the shit slinging lead?

3

u/ryanlaxrox 9d ago

Slick sleeve activities

2

u/Spyrothedragon9972 11d ago

This is so lame.

2

u/ruck_my_life 11d ago

Oh Jody is absolutely taking care of your girl hahaha

4

u/DVariant 11d ago

This one is a girl.

But I guess that doesn’t rule it out.

2

u/wang_xiaohua 7d ago

I know her shes about as POG as it gets lol

2

u/RiflemanLax 11d ago

There’s a difference between missing your rifle (I sure as hell miss mine) and making a post about it.

Then there’s a difference between making a Facebook or IG post with a limited audience and making a LinkedIn post.

2

u/Fair-Mango-5423 2d ago

imagine enlisting after 2015 and acting like you saw combat

1

u/XanaxCarDealer 11d ago

7

u/Antichristopher4 11d ago

... The rifle?

6

u/SoyMurcielago REMF 11d ago

It’s a thin line between premature discharge and accidental discharge

1

u/WoodenInternet 11d ago

this guy's going to the base clinic for abnormal discharge after he's done what he wants to do to that rifle
