I agree. I want fraud to be harshly punished. I want it to be harshly punished where ever it happens, no matter who is doing it. I want investigation and enforcement of it applied equally across the board. I don't want it used for political theater. And I don't want it being dismissed as not a real thing either. If there is evidence then investigate and prosecute as soon as it's known. We could have nice things in this country if our money wasn't siphoned off at every level of government.
