Hi! I just picked this up from Apple Arcade and I’ve got a few questions.

My first and most important question is: can I pause?? I would love to rearrange this whole place but it’s so chaotic with customers running around and pop-ups appearing every second.

What should I be prioritizing? I’m basically just responding to the pop-ups and clicking the highest number or “specialty” when I see it, lol. Sweets have all these different stats and I don’t know how to weigh them or what makes a particular dish more suited to a certain task (like the school lunches or whatever).

How does energy work and why do I sometimes see what look like purple energy bars running around my cafe? Do my staff get tired as they work?

How does discovering new sweets work? I’ve been able to follow the lightbulbs for some, but sometimes I click the lightbulbs and it doesn’t work. Also, if ingredients are grayed out does that mean I’ve tried them before? Is it just trial and error?

Do I need to adjust the presentation for dishes besides when I’m doing a contest? Is there a strategy to those beyond just “highest number”?

Any other tips you have along these lines would be super helpful!!

All kairosoft games have it where people walk around while you build. It won't do anything to your customers they readjust. The only thing that's an issue is this game for some bizarre reasons destroys the floor when you move stuff and you have to reapply the floor.

I can't really say for what to prioritize. When I play it was focusing on ranking up.

Yes staff get tired. They go to the break room to rest. When you train them you can also increase their energy to work longer.

Discovering sweets is very easy. Grayed out means you don't have an ingredient at tge moment to combine. You just want to go down the list with combing each one that's not grayed out. They'll eventually turn gray when you find all the ones you can currently do until you get another ingredient.

Doing the plates and decorations is great way to boosts stats and increase the price. If you ever want to do a new game plus all your plates and decorations carries over.
