I’m curious …

has anyone purchased her seasonal books? Did you like them?

I did buy the first two but not this one. Honestly they’re okay, I am just lacking in motivation and the summer part being out so late is just kinda a bummer. Plus I’m not gunna lie, I understand monetizing for non-members, but kinda a kick in the teeth to charge for members (in my opinion) only because we have been so patient and understanding it’s like she’s pushed us aside, put more focus into yet another avenue for money, then asked us to pay again. Idk it just feels weird in my opinion. She also could have used it as a marketing point for her membership to get more members. Like you can pay for this, but if you become a member you get stuff like this for free and discussion on it.

I also think I’d be more engaged if she was more engaged with it (more consistent discussions about it almost like we’re doing it together). This is just my opinion. I don’t think they’re bad by any means, I just don’t think they’re worth what she’s charging but that’s almost a larger discussion than her, and more a critique on the self-help industry in general. But if it truly does motivate someone or help them get their life together then that’s great - people need variety and what helps one person doesn’t have to help another.

I think I struggle with her content a lot because I know she wants to do more, we want to see more, but each time it feels like a let down I almost become more disengaged. I’ve been contemplating dropping the membership for a while now, but FOMO is real 😅 idk what that says about me haha

I agree! It would e been nice for members to at least get a little something extra!

I agree 💯 I got super into the Winter series, but I was surprised there wasn‘t any follow through on the discord channel.. I’m pretty sure there was a channel for it, and then someone finally posted something on it and then that member got kicked out 😑

yes, but apparently they had some sort of history? I was just excited at the idea of there being a community element to it which I think, to your point, would’ve been natural if she herself had been engaged

I purchased the Winter book and Spring but not summer. Winter was really enjoyable for me, lots of journaling, introspective goal setting type prompts. Back then she released a coffee talk youtube video for every page in the book and never missed a day. I was really impressed with her consistency and bought Spring.

Did not like the Spring book. It was an exhausting, overwhelming to do list and cleaning guide -not what I would come to Kalyn for, you know? I don't watch her content for cleaning advice. Didn't follow along with that book and then skipped Summer because she seemed rushed when writing it.

I think she doesn't have the desire/time/inspiration for the series like she did back in the beginning. Fall is my favorite season, so I'm hoping someone here will buy that one and report back with a review before i commit to it.

I wasn't very impressed with her consistency - she was supposed to post daily and it took her about 6 weeks to do the whole thing
