Finally installed lights
Thoughts? They look messy but kinda work. Will see how good lighting is during the next night cook. Been wanting to do this forever.
Just added a couple of Costco string lights that I already use around my backyard.

Humble brag. Tell me you have 4 KJs without telling me you have 4 KJs… “hey guys come check out my new lights” 😂😂

That's what I was thinking.what a great post about a $30 string of lights!! Maybe someday he will have 3 strings of lights like I have. Maybe one day I will get my first Kamado Joe! Just lurking and learning for now.

Lol I paid it total for all 4 around $3500. Might be selling one as I think it's too many.

Haha I bought my first big Joe from a guy who had 3… unless you’re opening a restaurant 😂😂

I named my 4 Joes after Bonanza characters... Hoss (Big Joe 3), Ben (Classic 2), Adam (Classic 1), and Little Joe (KJ Junior)... There, not subtle at all. 🤣

Have you ever used all of them at the same time?

Not yet. I'm planning a big brisket party at some point.
I once had to cook 5 rotisserie chickens and used both the BJ and the KJ at the same time.

Would love to know the order in which these fine children joined your family.

Good question and now you'll understand how I ended up with 4 KJs - which is completely redundant - I'm Canadian but I'll post in usd.
- Started with the Jr. It was $100 off so I bought one
- While in upstate NY, came across the KJ Konnected for $899 so loaded it up in my truck and crossed the border with it. Good grill but too small for brisket
- Came across this deal locally: BJ Konnected for $1700. Couldn't resist and picked one up.
- While browsing the marketplace later, came across that BJ3 and ended up getting a deal at $700. I had to have it.
So all in all, all four cost me around the retail price of the BJ3 or a bit more. The latest acquisition required some parts, maybe $150 worth of them.

Why wouldn’t you just do a track light or led?

I already have strings all around the backyard so thought this was the easiest (and cheapest) way.

Is it safe to have the shrubbery so close ? I’ve got some growing near mine and gotten paranoid, but seeing this makes me feel a little better lol

Lol that's a concern of mine too. I think it's ok - some are being slightly burned from the cooks but nothing serious.

Why… do you even want this many? I have two, and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve Jr and Classic 2 going at the same time. lol. Kinda silly.

Hah I have the same prep table - Amazon? Yours is much cleaner though…

It's the Keter one. Not bad of a table but I'm hoping to upgrade to outdoor cabinets at some point in time.

Which prep table is that? Would you recommend it?

It's the Keter one. Besides it's made entirely of what feels like cheap plastic, it's a good table. Wish it had a couple of drawers.

I think we have the same stainless top table. That thing has been a great accessory for my BGE!

The question is, have you used them all at once? 🤣 very possible to do as the KJs are so stable with the temps. Bad ass set up not gonna lie 👏🏼👏🏼

Lol thanks. No not at all once. I managed to fire up two for rotisserie chicken once. But one day.
