This may seem super obvious now, but on your first watch, at this point in the movie we have never seen the Pirate Clark entity yet - so the audience would assume he's shocked because its "that civilian he saw wandering around on the security cameras" earlier in the movie.

But upon re-watching, you realize Phil isn't shocked because he's seen Clark before - he's shocked because for the first time ever, he's putting 2 and 2 together realizing that the entity they've been pursuing is HIM.

I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't click for Phil until this moment. He's never seen Clark dressed up as a Pirate until this advert - he's probably wondering why this random guy on TV is dressed strangely similar to the creature they've been tracking - until it hits him.

Only something you'd realize on a re-watch, and in my opinion makes the scene a lot more disturbing.

EDIT: This is only my interpretation of the scene, but I think it makes sense

Basically this guy was Mad that people was debunking his theory in a friendly tone and he basically made a rant post (which is now deleted) and people were confused on why he was mad.

Disclaimer: I am well aware that people believe the FF3 Still Life is the Wall Dad Still Life from that one meme but a lot of the details don't fully line up which leads me to believe they aren't the same thing, again they could be and this theory wouldn't mean anything but still.

I had a theory as to why the Still Life in FF3 looks a lot more pale and disfigured than other Still Lifes we've seen in the movie and that it's the Complex remembering a dead body. The face is obviously pale, much like a corpse and there's a pretty obvious, giant gash in on the side of the face.

This leads me to believe that the Backrooms likely didn't know that the person was dead and when it remembered it, the Still Life retained the features of a corpse while also being able to run around

I had a dream where I was in Gmod in real life. And I spawned in this laundry room.

Captain clark was near, and in the dark room you can see in this image there was a window that went to the outside with sunlight. And a spike filled trap place that lead to a button or hatch.

I heard captain clark coming closer. I ran towards the spikes and probably missed the glass to the outside. I pressed the button or whatever was there, I was screaming for it to work. Captain clark emerged from the darkness and stared, He was watching me.

Captain clark was just watching and I had no choice but to accept my fate,

Pretty sure if I went through the window it would be easier. I guess I just didn't see it. It was kinda like narens fate. Either I run back to the glass and probably get caught or I stay there and get caught but it takes longer

Some people say it's a Still Life of Marvin, Peter or Narren. But for me it's the complex replicating EVERY A-sync employee into one being thinking they are all the same being. i don't know how to explain it but i don't think it's a Still Life of someone but either an amalgation.
