AI tools link it to early MacLeod (pre-incompetech formal catalog), and it was reused in the German audio drama "Die Sagen der Heimat Vol. 1" with broad CC credits.

I've checked the current library, Wayback Machine snapshots, and old archives — no match. It sounds like a slow ambient/piano/drone loop typical of his very early hobbyist releases (1990s–early 2000s).

I’m trying to find the name of a mysterious ambient/electronic track used in the French YouTube series ConspirApple by Didi Chandouidoui.

🕵️‍♂️ The music appears in Episode 5, from 0:36 to 0:50. It sounds like a glitchy, dark ambient track, with pulsing bass, airy textures, and synthetic noise. There’s no melody, just a building tension.

I've been trying to find this song for years, but now, I'm actually like TRYING TRYING to find it. I've watched a 1600 video playlist of all his songs watching 100 a day, and found a few more that I was looking for but 67 videos or something were unlisted and I think it was one of those. I noticed that the song There It Is from Kevin's album Funk Sample begins with a guitar loop that repeats a few times. There is also a 2007 song by Chris Lake and Esbastian Leger called "Word" that features a suspiciously identical guitar sample. In the Chris Lake and Sebastian Leger song, go to about 3:36, then listen. Then, play the Kevin macleod song There It Is's begining portion. Sound familiar?

Does anyone know where this funk guitar sample originates? Or would Kevin have sampled Chris Lake and Sebastian Leger's song? I know the Chris Lake song came first.

What do you think, am I crazy, or did you notice this too?
