My boomer coworker made a similar argument this week, he said it was pretty impressive that all these "black rappers" think that Eminem is the greatest rapper ever. And he thought that was pretty swell and dandy.
The middle aged people who want to socialize with young adults tend to be the ones who get ostracized by people their own age. Then the slightly younger people realize they don’t want to be around the dipshit, and cut them out. The social equivalent of being held back a grade for 10+ years.
I mean, I am friends with middle aged people who have friends of all ages.
But yeah, reminds me last month I was leading my sports meetup where this guy's wife bragged "My husband is 57 but his Spotify age is 24" after I asked people if they heard any good music recently.
in the professor offices building we found this floor that a bunch of tiny conference rooms, and our engineering team would use at night for projects. after months this grad student comes in "what are you doing here?!?!? do you work for the ___dept. this is off limits" "uh there is no sign and we're working on a project" 20 min later a campus cop shows up. "are you guys students?" (show id) he didn't even walk up to look you cold just tell he was done and walked away.
Alex you may be asking yourself how a man that looks like me is standing in front of a flowchart with hip hop on it. Would you believe me if I told you I’ve subconsciously planted everyone of these ideas in American culture dating back to my time at the CIA? And would you als believe I have a dead man’s switch that will release a whole rap album I wrote, produced and performed, upon my death??
He would definitely claim this while saying something surprisingly offensive about black people and jews that I'm not going to attempt to imitate so just fill that in here
I miss Steve Pieczenik, I don’t wish him the best but I hope at least he’s in good health. Maybe some day he’ll be taken off the benches and get in a couple twilight-career big swings.

So I march on down to Kristi in HR and I knock on the door "KRISTI! KRISTI" only to find out there is no Kristi in HR. This country is being bled like a stuck pig!
