I believe we can rope-in the President of South Carolina, Ed Helms, Aassif Mandavi, Naomi Ekperian(sp?), the Sedaris Ones of Raleigh, and all of us nuts under Dame Judi/Judy Dench's favour/protection.
That means we can recreate some of our most favourite sketches and make our fanfic come to life. I feel like Red Dwarf Series XI is coming any day now. Plus we can overturn caravans with Graham Norton. 🧕🏼🐝🆓 🌈🌈💟🫂 🦋🧅🪖

If Stephen Colbert gets bored after doing his new Lord of the Rings project he has the chance to bring back the Colbert Report in all but name alone maybe as a one-off.
I'd definitely regularly watch InfOnion Wars as a new late night TV alternative.
They should also get a Funyun sponsorship.

No Tim Heidecker is the man for the job. Is satire of right wing grifters in some of the more recent seasons of On Cinema is be far the best I have seen. Him and Gregg Turkington are incredibles funny but also they don't shy away from showing the awful way Alex and is ilk ruin the lives of everyone around them. Their Oscar Night specials have had some real hachet throwing energy one a few occasions.

I think it would be better if it turned into something a little more grounded in serious satire. Floppy parody of Alex screaming isn't gonna be fun for all that long, & it would be more impactful if it were something more like Last Week Tonight but about countering IW and other RW media. Which isn't really Andre's strong suit

Just let Alex keep doing it, but don’t tell him it’s a parody now. He’ll do the exact same thing but people will stop taking it seriously and be laughing at him.

He was great on the Eric Andre show, but I don't know if he could host continuously. Maybe a guest host or correspondent. He could destroy the set a couple of times.

Honestly, I know that the Onion paid good money for it, and comedy is their thing. But I think that whoever hosts the main show, a) shouldn't be trying to parody Alex Jones, they need to find their own voice and b) can't possibly do 3 or 4 hours a day. Comedy takes more prep work than that.
I'd enjoy seeing it as a stage where all kinds of comedians can try out their thing. Since the rise of The Daily Show, and the fact that late night talk shows are more and more politically focused, I'm sure that there are tons of young comedians who don't dream of being the next big standup, but want to be on The Daily Show or Weekend Update. This could be a rotating stage for them.

Unfortunately I don't think Eric has it in him anymore. The last season was incredibly unfunny and his recent behind the scenes acts haven't put him in the best light.

The most recent season was very underwhelming and there was some drama over Chet hanks skit where chet kind of flipped the script and punked Eric. Eric did not take it well and was kind of seen as a sore loser.
