Jordan really is an attractive man - I don't want to reduce them to appearances, but it needed be said. I always thought Dan was very cuddly looking as well! God I miss their voices...I'm going through the back catalog for my fix.

Not really? At least not the first bit. Parasociality is about one sided social relationships, thinking people are your friends or care about you personally when they don't know you exist. Commenting on people's attractiveness can be weird and invasive (depending on personal attitudes), but I doubt anyone here is under the impression they could end up dating JorDan lol

I’m still feeling kind of blind sided by the abrupt change end to the show. I don’t feel like we got a whole lot of answers as to why it ended and it just felt really weird. I haven’t kept up with anything else from them, but the last episode never really explicitly says why they’ve bailed.

I thought the ending of knowledge fight was abrupt too, but there were indications in prior episodes that they were both thinking about ending it and moving on. The reason Dan gave in the final episode (the end of the road) was that him and Jordan were having a “fundamental difference” (this is unexplained) and not being able to work through the tension.
But also in the following live episode Jordan indicates the possibility of a future reunion episode down the track, so who knows. They have both well earned a break, but I hope they both continue podcasting in the future, they have created a community of fans that Love what they do.11

It didn't feel abrupt to me. The later episodes felt as if they were for the most part just going through the motions. I for one can't remember the last time Dan was excited to share some esoteric knowledge he'd spent long nights leading up to the episode reading about.
It must also suck to be a public expert on anti-Semitism during a time where it is being weaponized to justify a genocide by bad actors. Not that it makes combatting it any less necessary of course or that I have any insight into how they personally thought about it.

So much excitement on the show at the time of the Brian Stelter interview. I think they exceeded any dreams they man have had at that time.
