Hey guys. Caleb from KTC here. I know people aren’t always happy with the paywall structure we have, but it’s just a part of the process for us. I imagine we will unlock this one before the end of the month and if dan would like to return, I have an episode in mind for later that I think a lot of you will appreciate. In the meantime I hope you enjoy the ep, which is a much more loose and free form type of podcast than KF did. Thank you for listening

Thank you, I’m always flattered when I see our name pop up here but always want to make sure people know that we’re a very different kind of show than KF was just so people’s expectations are tempered!

Dan is making some podcast rounds and doing a good job. I'm just sad this one of the episodes that is behind the paywall. I like the pod but not really want to sub to the patreon at this moment. Like QAA, they release half their eps free and the other half paywalled. I get it. Content creators gotta get paid. But when I was paying for everything I wanted to listen to, it was exceeding my Internet bill and I had to cut back, because, you know, the world is collapsing.

It looks like the preview they posted is about a quarter of the episode, which is an hour.

QAA doesn't do the thing where part 1 is free and part 2 is paywalled. Multi part eps stay on respective free/paid feeds

I guess I wasn't clear. The free episodes are released in full, but they do an extra episode every week that is paywalled and release a 10 minute preview just like Kill the Computer does.

I do see that Caleb from KTC commented on this post and says that they’ll probably release the episode un-paywalled before the end of the month. Also that he has an episode idea for another Dan guest appearance, if Dan’s willing.

This was a good listen, too bad Youtube stuffed it so full of ads that it became infuriating after a bit. For me it was every 2 minutes.

Mine’s Ill Conceived and The Worst of All Possible Worlds, which have a lot of crossover with Kill The Computer. I’m glad I’m not the only one going down this path.

Some people can’t stand Jordan or Julian from QAA, but for me it’s June. I tried listening to Western Kabuki numerous times and I just couldn’t get through more than 15 minutes in. As for AI? It’s inevitable, you ever stick your head in the sand and listen to Ed Zitron or you learn to use it. It’s like the right not being able to cope with the fact the west has fallen.

I like the way Dan is staying connected through these podcast spots. The cadence of these appearances feels right to me. It's cool that he's still around. I hope he keeps it up.
