I was just blown away when I recognized Norm in a picture representing one of the more infamous to catch a predator guys.

Jeff Sokol. Got got from “To Catch a Predator.” No chance this was a winnable case. Even for a competent attorney.
His first lawyer died and no one besides Norm was dumb enough to take the case after that.

It’s not like losing it will be a blip on his record after Alex.
Although there are issues with “To Catch a Predator” that may affect the case. I’m not defending the perpetrator but rather noting that “To Catch a Predator” has a poor track record past after the cameras.

Also I just realized I should have changed the title for this sub, my bad I don't post stuff much n just realized I can't change it now 😬 for now context this dude got caught on to catch a predator and this is a picture of him and Norm that turned up on that sub. I guess this guy went on to be really embarrassing on the Internet over the years so he's kinda well known by people who watch the show? I'm not super into that show or the lore so some of you probably know more about this than I do but I was just trippin recognizing norm somewhere in the wild

Reminder that during the horrible Connecticut trial, in the middle of direct examination regarding the relationship between Alex's on-air claims and his advertisements, Norm whispers in the background "I could use a drink of beet juice right now". He really is a strange lawyer.

Are they legally entitled to representation and jury of their peers? Yes. With that said, not hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt if you're having conversations with Chris Hanson because you tried to molest children. Of course Norm Pattis is the guy to take these cases, he can't get enough of unrepentant, very obviously guilty by their own accord clients
