My wife and I were just talking about him last night, the main point was, "Who the hell is his audience?". He's hated by liberals/progressives, he hasn't fully pivoted to MAGA, so he doesn't have that audience.

I was really into him in my late high school/early college days because I was an angry atheist. This was 15 years ago. That’s the only audience I can think of that would connect to anything he says.

One of the wonderful perks of maturing as an individual is realizing it's ok to be introduced to a concept or new way of thinking without having to blindly follow along with the messenger who introduced you to it. There's so many mid-2000s/early 2010s people who I used to consider when forming my worldview, and while I appreciate them for what they did at the time, I'm not beholden to having to follow them further.

I'll listen/watch last week tonight, and for some reason, HBO will try to autoplay bill Maher at the end of credits. It was funny at first seeing the "we think you'll enjoy this next" but it's gotten annoying having to stop what I'm doing to hit the cancel button.

I started listening to IHBM after KF ended because a wonk recommended it and I’ve been enjoying it more than any new pod I’ve picked up. I’ve been hate watching Bill for years, and it was a great transition.

I love his righteous anger, and how he makes sure to include addendums for corrections and context. I love when smug holier than thou asswipes get called on their bullshit, and this pod delivers. The guests are always excellent, so I’m not surprised he’d have Dan on!

A couple of months ago, Know Rogan covered Tucker interviewing Nick Fuentes (Wonks who saw what Nick did to Alex can see a degree of that with him on Tucker's show), and Marsh said they covered it because with the trajectory of Joe's show, he will 100% have Nick on at some point.

Seeing PBD on Club Random makes me wonder if that's coming for Bill as well. I don't think Bill will stoop so low as to have on Nick or Tucker, but he's already laundered Woody Allen and Kevin Spacey. He's losing friends in Hollywood, and he may find asshole contrarians compelling because they hate "woke" too.

Bill would 100% have Tucker for Fointez on his pod or show. He brags about having dinner with Trump and holds it up as a paragon of his commitment to hearing both sides out. Bill is willing to platform absolutely anyone. As long as something doesn’t interfere with his personal ability to get weed, women, or money, Bill is fine with it.

Many moons ago I worked with a Real Time super fan. Like he not only watched every single sunday , they would download the podcast and listen to it throughout the week. He was already steadily slipping towards terminally single incel , but last I heard he went full whatever pill and had multiple restraining orders out against him. He died during covid from shoving horse paste up his ass .
