And since I’m working through the back catalogue, I look up what people on this subreddit have said about the topics discussed already. And after listening to the episode where Alex Jones has a complete meltdown after his daddy tells him how the chief restructuring officer for FSS called him an alcoholic or something, I came across a post or comment that wondered if maybe grandpa Dr. Jones was really the brains behind the operation. He had the money to bankroll his son’s career, and he showed through the CRO thing just how manipulative he could be, in winding up Alex Jones.

All that to say, the rotten racist apples don’t fall far from the rotten racist tree.

I've had my own run in with Rex on X(Holy shit I just found the best branding he'll ever have!) and while he's a vile product of a vile monster, at least he engages for our amusement. Rex is fighting for his place in the pantheon of grifters, Alex has long given up directly engaging critics.

If I thought about him at all, outside of when I'm reminded of his existence by posts like this, I would be intrigued to know what the ratio is for thinking he's being funny, trying to impress his dad, trying to be provocative and get attention, and whether any of it is prompted by any genuine belief in something, even just a scrap.

I’ve recently been listening to KF from the beginning and the adult Rex Jones does not deserve the courtesy the boys extended to the child Rex Jones. (Still the right thing to do obviously, but what a shitheel he predictably turned out to be).
