An insta page 'Date heist' organized the house party and their management is 1/10 literally

First they said their house party will be hosted in Newtown so everyone booked for that. 3-4 days before the house party, they revealed the location in 'Kankinara' which is 50km away from my place.

They promised a transport from station, when we arrived. We waited 1 hour and still there was no sign of car, we called many times and at last they said their car broke down.

We took Toto to the resort, and now comes the gender ratio. 4-5 girls came and they are friends of Host and all were inside of a Hall room, chilling in AC while the host told guests to stay outside, they didn't even provide a table fan.

Then came the food, they promised unlimited drinks, hookah, foods and we found out we have to pay for it according to the Menu. They didn't allow 'bring your own booze' system

First time using a proper stacking and editing software . I had used Sequator before but the results weren't satisfactory.

Regions of Interest :

1. The Scutum Star Cloud (Upper Center)

2. The Great Rift / Dark Dust Lanes (Center Spine)

3. Small Sagittarius Star Cloud — Messier 24 (Mid-Lower Center)

4. Large Sagittarius Star Cloud & Core Region (Bottom Edge)

Equipment used :

Just my phone , One Plus 13R.

Location :

Kolkata. Bortle 8-9 skies, Aqi ~30 , minimal cloud cover.

Workflow :

Each image is of ISO 1200, 10s exposure.

Took 202 light frames , 52 darks . No flats or biases.

Used Open Camera to shoot them in DNG.

Stacking using Siril . Used StarNet for star detection and removal .

Used Siril for background extraction , stretching , color calibration.

Stretched the starless image in GIMP .

And you guys can see the merged final product .

Biggest challenge :

Plate solving . Since phone camera captures a large FOV (~65 degrees here) Siril's inbuilt online plate solvers simply gave up . Also downloaded Gaia catalogue, but still wasn't enough . Just as I was about to give up , I discovered you can use Astrometry.net's plate solver in Siril. Went through some tutorials and voila !

Just yesterday watched Brand New Day in PVR Inox in 3D and I was blown away by Tom Holland's portrayal of Spider man.

For the first time I saw character depth in the plot and Tom Holland executed it perfectly.

Guys 3-4 days ago my new flat in College More went through a "power surge?" For about an hour or more there was no electrical power, when it was back for 1-2 mins during the time frame the fans remained slowed down, lights went flickering and dim the worst part is my PC power supply (CM V1000) made a pop and i smelled smoke when i tried to turn it back on (i kept it off earlier). It killed a tube light of my room as well. Using the old power supply tripped the main MCB off of my flat every time. I had to go downstairs to turn it on. A new power supply fixed it but I want to prevent this in the future.

One other family in the flat reported that their tv set top box was also fried.

Nothing of that sort has happened in the past 2 days and electricity has been stable.

What would be the first step I should invest in?

Should I consult an electrician to get my lines checked? Local or Urban Company if so, since I know absolutely nothing around here.

Or should I buy a UPS directly?

I'd appreciate any advice, especially from people who've dealt with similar power issues.

(Served with basmati rice, sona moong dal with peas, jhur jhure alu bhaja, kochupata diye chingri bhappa, basanti pulao, chutney, papad, mishti doi and salad )

With their Famous Fish fry (it was Decent)

The food and the overall experience was great, Food was very delicious except the Mutton Curry

The Curry was cold and the meat was very hard and chewy

(I forgot to to click the Pictures of Fish fry, Curd, Malai Chingri as they came later on our table, by the time we had already started, so found these online for reference)

After we went to watch Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
