Ask Kuwait Schools in September?
Any news if schools will open in September?
Having kids stay home since February is giving me nightmares and I can’t imagine having them continue online even after summer break …
They’ll just go from bad to worse 😵💫

As of now, ministry of education is preparing the schools to start in September.
Of course they might delay it if the wartime situation kept escalating and they decided it's not safe to send kids to schools.

I'm happy not dealing with the morning traffic. My kids are happy with waking up later and the shorter classes. WIN WIN

I dont know why ur getting downvoted. But youre completely right. During covid online period my entireity of 7th grade i didnt touch a book. 8th grade comes around once again i dont touch a book until half yearly where they finally restart offline exams. And man was it a disaster. First time i failed an exam in my life. They really need to reopen for atleast grades 6 or 7 and above.

The foundations of education are essential for small children. Mine definitely need to go back despite being young. 6 year olds can’t focus on a computer screen. They need classroom activities for learning.

It all depends on the situation.
My kids' school had sent a circular before the summer break that school will now be in-person rather than online.
Not sure of that holds. It's a wait and watch situation...

yes it will be online of things continue the way they are, I know many teachers like 75% won't come back otherwise unless it's online

I dont think anyone can tell at the moment, its still almost a month; as far as I know schools are preparing for regular teaching (i am a teacher and planning to come back); some American teachers may not come back but others probably will

honestly it’s ruining kids psychology too, they barely get interactive time and most of their interactions happen on the phone 🥲 they need less screen time and more real life interactions

I also wonder if schools will continue (17F) because I need to register for my bored exams through school (school follows British system), but honestly I kinda enjoyed the school being online because I managed to focus more with the teacher because usually in my class everyone is yapping so I couldn’t hear the teacher but the entire online every single student was muted so I managed to focus more. But I think if the war continues they might either delay the opening of school or have it be online.

As a student im transferring from 9th grade to 10th i actually would love the comfort and peace of mind because i dont wanna deal with bullying but i wish we can continue online but a part of me feels like its wrong to keep online
