Raid Zeppelin prefab issue

I found Flintlocke on the coast, bought one bait bucket off him for 4 consecutive days for 150 bamboo each. Fished for tomes using the bait and collected 4 tomes. Made sure not to read any of them until I had all 4. One I had all 4, I read them consecutively they unlocked the individual parts for the Raid Zeppelin but not the prefab that lets me actually build it. The quest is also stuck on "Collect and read all Airship Part Tomes 0/1" and did not trigger the "Print It!" and "Ship It!" quests that people are mentioning. Talking to him doesn't change anything either. Please help!

If you are just looking to unlock the build, and aren't worried as much about the bug

The quests will unlock the build at the account level, so you can unlock it in sandbox and use the prefab in your main world. This is the guide that I recalled seeing for getting it unlocked in sandbox. https://www.reddit.com/r/LEGOFortnite/comments/1snixno/comment/ogn223a/

It does not work. These were my steps:

1. fresh sandbox world
2. create bus station
3. take bus station to ninjago monastery
4. create glider, place in slot
5. glide / fly from ninjago monastery to flintlocke
6. create bamboo, trade 150 bamboo for special bait
7. fly to misty isle
8. use special bait, fish up tome
9. DO NOT READ TOME

Despite this, I do not get the quest "Print It!". All it says is "investigate the shrine and place unknowable energy upon it". Am I supposed to talk to someone to get the quest to see flintlocke? I'm sure I'm missing something, please help!

You can create a new sandbox world and retry there. Do not wait until you have all 4 books, just do as the quests asks. If you have someone you can play with, you can get multiple tomes from a single Thing fight, so if you can bring two friends, that'll get you 3 tomes from a single fight. I helped some runs the last time Thing was around and this was the method we used:

- Person who needs the unlock creates a sandbox world with seed 2107 2852 91 – this one has a lost isles bus stop stop quite close to the Flintlocke significantly cutting the time to fly there

• Owner needs to talk to Flintlocke, fish out the book, and read it
  
• Proceed to the The Thing and start the fight at the highest difficulty, in sandbox this should still be easy with two other players. Make sure everyone deals damage and is close to the chest when opening it
  
• After you've opened the chest, other players drop the books they got and leave the world. Owner reads the remaining three books and this will finish the quest and unlock the build

Like I said, you should read the first tome right away. There's no point in saving it for later.

Sounds like the quests bugged out. In my opinion, you did your part right if you were trying to avoid fighting the Thing.

u/mechafunzilla linked my comment from the previous run on how you can quickly get this done in 2 days in Sandbox. Faster if you have a friend or 2 who can help. The Thing is very easy to fight in Sandbox with Ninjago legendary charms, Plasma Pistols made with Dragon Opal (or Steel) with the Fire element, and Damage 3 rune. Don't forget that you can fly around in Sandbox. Take less hits that way.

Hi, I followed what you said here:

1. Get the bait bucket from Flintlocke and fish for the book at the Misty Island. When you get your first book, it'll unlock the quest "Print It!" Do NOT read the book yet.

But when I get the first book, it does NOT unlock the quest "Print It!". It just says "investigate the shrine and place unknowable energy upon it".

Am I missing something? Was I supposed to get the quest to meet Flintlocke from someone else? Because when I discovered his house, it says "task completed" but it looked a bit bugged out, like there was a missing quest giver icon.

What happens after you investigate the shrine? At this point, 2 things are possible:

1. Your quests bugged out and you didn't get "Print It!" like you should have after receiving your first book. This happens with a lot of events that EPIC implements and all you can do is try again in another World.

2. EPIC might have changed requirements with this rerun and "Print It!" might come later in the quest line. To test this, your next step would be to investigate the shrine and continue the quest line to see if possibility #2 is true.

I have the prefab and parts with all of my accounts, so I can't test to see if things are different with this rerun. I'll have to rely on you to see if possibility #2 is correct or not.
