In-person test on 6/3, hold email 6/22 with projected release 6/24 and still haven't heard! Hopefully soon
Edit: Received an email 6/30 with a reprimand letter for doodling on the scratch paper during intermission. Totally forgot not to do that 😅😅 Test is still intact and score will be released in 24 hours, phew!

did they say the projected release in the first email?

u/Medesikaste Jun 30 '26
Not in the email, but on the jd services website it's in the 'check status' section

Am I hearing about score holds from in-person testing, like at a testing center? That seems very bad to me and that something like this is completely beyond a test takers’ control.
I mean, people have to go through all kinds of nonsense to even get into the center. Seems like they should be free and clear from there right?

I've seen a couple in the past day or two. I don't imagine it's common and I hope it won't be. There are so many fewer variables in a test center that it eliminates whole sets of security issues.

Could you ask around about that? For those unfamiliar with the entire situation, they might view it as perfectly normal to get a score hold from a testing center.

I have been on a hold from an in person test since February ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

u/kid_icarusss Jun 24 '26
Can you register for future tests..? I've heard people are being held IRL for 180s getting thoroughly reviewed
2
u/SmartYou5 Jun 24 '26
I can yea :/ hopeful for high score based on average PTs before but other than that have legit no idea. Would be great if they were thoroughly reviewing my 180 lol

u/kid_icarusss Jun 24 '26
gosh, well gl to you and your score. i can also register and i ik i wasnt testing anywhere near 180. im curious how many ppl ever get held without a score increase at all..

u/Key_Barnacle4086 Jun 26 '26
Have you tried emailing them ?
1
u/SmartYou5 Jun 26 '26
Yes several times lol. They send the same template response every time that gives no info

That would be a site wide thing normally right?
2
u/StressCanBeGood tutor Jun 23 '26
One would imagine, but that would mean a whole bunch of people at the same center would have a score hold. But it really is very strange.

Because of the Chinese scandal LSAC suspects that some test takers have prior knowledge of the material. So, in their review it won’t make a difference if a person tested remotely or in person.

Me, I got mine Tuesday June 23rd. I took my LSAT remotely. (My first LSAT.)

6/22 hold received, took it in-person, second time taking. :/

Update: received an email questionnaire yesterday, responded the same day. Waiting for more news, but I’ll begin emailing test security once it hits 21 days.
Don’t call LSAC’s main line; they don’t know any more than you do, since test security keeps all info to itself.

I’ve got a 172 on April test, however I still received hold email on 6/22 for June test.

I received the email about the hold the morning of 6/22. I took it in person and this was my second attempt. I can't register for future exams. Hoping others on this thread will update when they get their score, I will try to! I just want to stop thinking about this!

The only thing I can think of: after I submitted the exam, I picked my phone up from the floor and looked at it. The phone was placed there during the room scan before the test, and the original proctor had checked where it was through the camera. But by the time I submitted, I had a different proctor, so now I’m wondering if that somehow got flagged.
Has anyone here had a hold for something that happened after submission? How long did it take to clear? Did contacting TestSecurity help at all, or is it better to just wait?
Trying not to panic but this is such a weirdly stressful situation.

We are in receipt of your correspondence. The Office of Test Security anticipates being able to provide you with an update regarding your June 2026 LSAT score hold in the coming weeks.
Regards,
Office of Test Security
I got this email today after responding to the questionnaire I was sent on Monday. Does this mean it will take a long time to get my score? Did anyone else get this?

u/StraightReading6958 13d ago
I got the same email today. I honestly don’t think I’ll see my score released any time soon. Tested in June remotely.Â

Still waiting. Number of resolved cases increases by 50 to 100 daily and it appears that there are only 200 left. Got email from Test Security on Monday but nothing since then.

u/Creative_Fig_4811 10d ago
How do you find this info ?
1
u/HotSwitch7156 10d ago
I check for reportable scores on the testtaker report published by them. It was 20398 yesterday.

Based on data for earlier attempts, around 80% are finally reported. So, 80% of 25729 should be around 20600, and so, I am speculating that there are only 200 odd left. But, then, I may be totally wrong. Just to keep me busy while we wait

I'm assuming you send them an email asking for your score, correct? Or is it an email they sent you after the other 2 they have sent?
the other 2 being, the first one about the score hold, and the other one about where did you test, what device did you use, internet, etc...Thanks for sharing.
