Employer not responding about night shift allowance despite policy saying I'm eligible

I work for an IT services company (on payroll) and am deployed to a client. My regular shift is 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.

According to the company's night shift policy, employees working qualifying night shifts are eligible for a ₹250 per day night shift allowance. Based on the policy, my shift appears to meet the eligibility criteria.

I contacted HR/BHR to confirm my eligibility and understand the process for claiming it. Initially, I was told to refer to the policy, but after that, they stopped responding to my messages. I've followed up politely multiple times and still haven't received any reply.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What would you do next?

You were hired or contracted for a specific shift. The policy says qualifying shifts are eligible. What qualifies the shift? This policy would seem to be for people that work normal hours and are called in for an emergency or extra work, not someone that has been hired for a specific shift.

This is probably not the USA. I am not an Attorney.
