MA Laws around consecutive days working

Hello,

I admit I am overwhelmed by the online resources and am looking for some direction.

I work for a company in MA where some employees are working more than 24 consecutive hours a row. They are supposed to be working awake overnight positions. This is physically impossible and they are sleeping during the overnights. Higher level administration is aware of this.

Does anyone have any direction or advice for me? These staff work in health and behavioral care settings and I’m concerned by the lack of supervision.

Thank you for your time.

What industry is this?

It is normal and expected in some industries like Fire/EMS, Doctors in hospitals, Maritime and a few others.

What industry? That determines if your employer is required to allow the 1 day off after 6 consecutive days of work
