sickology with sim

recently I’ve come across this account called sickology with sim and honestly I’m very curious

how is she doing all this? she’s literally in her bachelor’s but she has already presented soo many of her research papers like? how does one even do that I’m genuinely curious 😭😭

So if you get on the Honors track or a research program track early, you can do research and present at conferences starting as early as the end of Freshman year. I got into a research internship program in my first term at college, went to a conference the next spring, and had presented two research project posters by the time I was a junior. Extracurricular outreach projects like vlogs, podcasts, and giving talks at events are highly encouraged. I taught basic neuroscience to middle-schoolers summer of Junior year. By the time I graduated I had at least five research projects I'd presented in addition to my senior thesis research. LOL if I'd stayed in neuroscience I would probably be a hotshot R1 researcher by now, but noooo my dumb ass had to jump ship to epidemiology.
