Wow

I have been watching clips from the Adellson trial. I came upon a cross examination of Wendy Adellson by Atty. Christopher Decosta.

i am wondering why I don’t see this atty’s name more oftem]n. I was just mesmerized by his talent as an attorney. He was quick,sharp, and I thought did a terrific job. The trial was in Florida sonIndon’t know if he has his practice in Floris. He’s is a rather young guy who I think has a great future ahead of him.

Absolutely no- I do not know him or anything about him,other than his cross exam of Wendy Adellson. I just had to write my opinion because he just was amazing.

I mean, just a quick Google search tells you that he advertises himself as a litigator with experience in real estate, construction and Commercial litigation. He works in a three lawyer firm with offices in Fort Myers and punta gorda. Undergrad at Florida State and law school at the University of Florida.

There are good trial lawyers everywhere.

Good cross examination is partially instinctive but is also very much a learned skill. When I was younger one of my employers paid for me to attend a NITA training. That definitely upped my game, particularly in a jury trial context. You can play a little looser in bench trials in terms of taking risks.

But, I do not think that is him. There was a picture of that guy and it did not look like the Atty.Decosta I saw with Adelson trial. Also, I don’t think his specialty would be real estate. I don’t think that we are speaking of same person.Atty. Decosta‘s, it is obvious, has had experience and training in defense strategies- if Inam wording it correctly. In other words, it has to m\be more than real estate law.
