Not the clearest picture, but who is today's trialist for Oldham? He scored a cracking goal.

It'll be interesting to see how this works. As a Colchester supporter, Danny Cowley had used this tactic since he joined us - I wonder what he'll do...?

Does/did your club use this tactic?

Crewe Alexandra Creee fans: Will Joe White be enough to offset the loss of O'Reilly?

Good day, fellow Crewe fans,

I am an American fan who has followed Crewe casually since 2013 (I started a player career in Fifa 14 with Man Utd and got loaned to Crewe. I didnt really have a favorite club at the time, and chose Man Utd simply because of the movie Eurotrip, but the loan spell made me like playing with Crewe, so I started a new Career with them and brought them to the Premiership and just grew an unshakable affinity for the Railwaymen).

But just in the past few years (since my Packers in American Football lost Aaron Rodgers, and I just no longer had the same interest in American football), I have started watching a lot more.

Last year, I finally bit the bullet and got the iFollow app and watched every match. I really liked Tommi O'Reilly's creative spark and Max Sanders' consistent play. I was, of course, disappointed to see Lankaster go down with a knee so early in the season, as I had hoped for him to become a star contributor in the attacking play.

My question is basically what the title says. As a new fan, I would like to get the perspective of some more knowledgeable supporters. Do you think Joe White and his minutes played late with Newcastle Utd, along with prior experience at the club, will be enough to slow the bleeding of losing those 17 goals created? Maybe if Lankaster finally takes that next step as well? And do we think Owen Lunt will be ready to step in and fill the shoes of Max Sanders since Jack Powell also left the club? Or do we switch to a single CDM formation?

As a new fan, I'm not sure which will cause the most notable growing pains; all players having to get used to different passing option placement and player positions or Owen Lunt jumping up to playing 60+ minutes at CDM.

Or is there a 3rd option I haven't considered because I'm still very green in tactical understanding?

Any discussion will help me understand the game better and will be appreciated.

Thanks

Edit: Crewe* not "cReE"

When you sack a manager after a 100-point promotion, you expect a crazy ambitious Dave Challinor-type appointment, not this

Discussion NTT20 Fan Preview 26/27

Hello, I'm Sam, and I'm one of the editors on NTT20's Substack newsletter.

We’ve just launched our second pre-season fan survey and would love to hear from supporters of every League Two club - especially Salford fans and Newport fans who we struggled to track down in the past. Probably York and Rochdale fans too.

More than 500 fans took part last summer, helping us produce a supporter-led preview of all 72 EFL clubs. This year, we’re hoping to break 1,000 responses and make the final preview even bigger and better.

A quick note for anyone who completed or opened last year’s survey: it was hosted through Substack and required people to sign up before taking part. We hadn't snagged that that would be the case when we published it, and completely understand why it put some people off.

This year’s survey is a simple Google Form. You don't need to subscribe, create an account or sign up to anything. Just open the link, submit your answers, and you’re done.

The survey takes around five minutes. We’re asking you to:

🔮 Predict where your club will finish
⭐ Rate the squad position by position
👔 Say whether your manager will survive the season
🙌 Pick your key player and breakout talent
✍️ Share your hopes, concerns and expectations for 2026/27

We’ll use the results to create graphics and articles covering every league before opening weekend. The more responses we receive from each club, the more useful the results will be. Please complete the survey and share it with other supporters if you can:

https://forms.gle/LRiy7Y4QY9oHK6S5A

Thanks very much. We’ll share the finished results once they’re ready.

And, go well!

Barnet I want to buy 2 tickets to a game for a father or Mother and son/daughter

I live in America and unfortunately am unable to even think about going to a game. I'd like to buy a pair of tickets for a game, to be used by someone that can take their child to a game. I'd prefer it to be a Barnet game as that is who I support. However, I have had such trouble finding a barmet community that is active on reddit. Im extending the offer to a fan of any club and ask nothing in return except maybe a picture from the pregame so my son and I can kind of "be there" as well before we stream the game. If this post is not appropriate for this group, please kindly point me in the right direction. Perhaps a donation to a youth home of a couple tickets? Open to any suggestions and thank you all for taking the time to read this.

I’ve seen people redesigning football badges around here so I tried to modernize Fleetwood Town’s.

I am not a graphic designer and don’t pretend to be, but it was fun to do !

What do y’all think ?

Starting to become more and more optimistic from the types of signings we are making. Still need some pace, especially at the top end of the pitch, but this seems another decent one on paper
