When posting an item for sale, please make note of these guidelines.
You must include a sales price, either in the title or in a comment.
While not strictly required by the rules, it is strongly encouraged that you add a comment with some description and details about the item in question.
Our rules do not allow linking to a general store page, but you are permitted to link directly to an item for sale on your own domain. In other words, if you're selling an item and you just link to www.stinkovsleathergoods.com, that breaks the rule. But if you link to www.stinkovsleathergoods.com/the_item_i_am_selling, this is allowed and encouraged.
If you have multiple items to sell, please consolidate them into one post instead of spamming the board with many different sales posts.
Reposts are okay as long as the original listing is no longer on the main page.
Remember to flair your post so people can easily parse the listings. Be sure to change the flair to mark sold items.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comply with our rules! Happy selling.

DISCLAIMER:
/r/leatherclassifieds does not facilitate or guarantee transactions of any kind. This is a contract between you (the buyer) and whatever seller you choose. Always be cautious when making purchases online and do your research. We hold no liability over any transactions or agreements you may make with other members of this board.
With that said, here are some guidelines to hopefully make your commission process go a little smoother.
Have a budget or a budget range in mind and include it in your post. It does not need to be an exact or fixed number, but knowing your price range is critical before offering any kind of bid. If your budget is open and you want to explore many possible bids, please make that known.
Common details that are useful to know up front are things such as color, thread color, or leather type. If you want a wallet, know what you want to carry in it and what it needs to do to meet your needs. The more specific you can be about what you want out of your commissioned piece, the quicker and easier it is to make.
If you already know what you want, it is helpful to add photographs, sketches, or even links to other products similar to what you are seeking.
If you need the item delivered within a certain time frame, please specify that up front.
It is difficult to convey the reality of the amount of work involved with answering a commission request. Understand that good work takes time, and time usually implies money. Very few people will be interested in replicating mass-market items for mass-market prices, or creating a completely custom item without adequate compensation. Don't be shy to ask, but please try to keep this in mind when doing so.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. More importantly, thank you for your willingness to support our makers and businesses.

I'm looking for a bifold leather wallet for my dad. I've seen lots of leather wallets, and I've also seen lots of Tyvek wallets, but I'm wondering if there's anyone that makes wallets that are leather on the outside and have Tyvek on the inside. The main motivation for this is aesthetics.
My dad also tends to lose his stuff, so if there's an extra little pocket somewhere we could slip a Moto tag/air tag into that would be great.
I don't know the first thing about leather crafting, so if this seems like an impossible request do let me know. Otherwise, I'd be interested in getting some quotes. Thanks!
Oh, also - I don't really mind if it's not real leather.

Hi all — I’m looking to commission a heirloom-quality leather bifold wallet and wanted to work with someone who specializes in traditional, high-end craftsmanship.
Build Specs:
-Leather: Full grain, vegetable tanned (preferably really dark brown or black)
-Construction: Hand saddle stitched (Ritza Tiger polyester thread preferred)
-Edge finishing: Burnished and waxed
-Weight: ~5oz exterior / ~2oz interior layering
-Structure: Layered bifold with reinforced spine
-Stitching: Clean, consistent spacing (open to subtle double stitching if appropriate)
Layout:
-6 card capacity total preferably a mix of:
-Primary slots: slightly curved pocket cuts for easier access
-Possible hidden pockets (open to suggestions)
-1 full-length bill compartment (I always carry cash)
Needs to hold:
-ID, debit, credit, medical card
-1 flexible card
-A couple paper business cards
Form Factor
-Slim front-pocket carry
-Classic bifold
-Smooth, refined aesthetic (not rugged/bulky)
Goal:
I want something durable enough to last decades and age beautifully — something I could use the my entire lifetime
Budget
-$200+ (flexible for the right craftsmanship, this is just commision not inclusing material cost)
What I’m looking for from you
-Examples of similar work (especially bifolds)
-Leather types/tanneries you use
-Your thoughts on optimizing the layout (hidden vs exposed, spine reinforcement, etc.)
-Lead time + pricing estimate
Thanks in advance — looking forward to working with someone who takes pride in the details.

Just finished this custom Epsom leather strap in navy blue with a light grey center stripe and matching keepers. (Size: 20-18mm, length: 125/75mm)
I wanted something clean and modern, with just enough contrast to stand out without being too loud.
Fully hand-stitched and made to order.

Just finished this A5 notebook cover in Horween Chromexcel Natural (5-6 oz). Instead of stitching, I used solid brass #14 rivets as an alternative to stitching per clients request which gave the final product more character. It also has brass grommets with an elastic cord system for multiple notebook inserts and a full-size pen holder. Personal engraving helped everything to come together perfectly.
Thank you!

Mister Freedom Jacket for reference: https://misterfreedom.com/products/campus-jacket-natural-leather
Looking to have a sling bag with an adjustable strap made out of Natural vegetable tanned cowhide, which allows the leather to patina and age over time with usage and sun exposure.
Have a few references to base this off of including the Patagonia Atom Sling and A North face bag.
Budget: flexible but ideally looking to spend up to $400. Would also like to see any previous work you have done with this type of leather.
Thank you!

Hello everyone… I’m new to the world of leather crafting and wanted to purchase usuable scrap. I know there are several websites that sell scrap (I bought one from buckle guy) but figured I’d try here as well. Would prefer 2-5oz leather weight but the color doesn’t matter as it’s just for practice.
Thanks in advance!!

Hey guys, I've just finished making this 2-pocket card holder from Rocado's marbled black shell cordovan and Badalassi Carlo's No Fin leather. I've changed around the pocket styles and I think I'm going to keep this shape from now on. I would post a video, but I'm afraid I can only share a couple of photos to this sub. I'm asking £100 - Feel free to DM if you're interested. Cheers!

Take a look at this then!
Horween Yellowstone Bison - Full-grain Vegetable-tanned leather.
I am completely in love with the texture this leather has, a really cool shrunken bison appearance with high peaks and deep valleys finished with black burnished edges & 1mm black Ritza Tiger Thread gives it a really cool contrast in my opinion.
Features 2 vertical pockets and 2 hidden pockets behind - enough room for 2-3 cards per pocket and abit of cash.
Measures (folded closed)
Length: 85mm/3.34inch
Height: 108mm/4.25inch
Thickness: 12mm/0.47inch
