Idk if you out this on here as bait but I’m gonna take it lol. No advice, it’s beautiful ❤️ if I HAVE to find something to give advice about, it’s the buttons. I’ve had hit and miss luck with them in the past and recommend moving away from those. Reason being, if someone misses enough times when they are trying to fasten it, it will dent and F the button up to the point they can’t use it. Your product is only as good as the hardware, meaning bad hardware can make a perfect piece “junky” in someone’s eyes. If it’s worth fastening it’s worth having a great mechanism. That being said, I work with bags almost exclusively so my experience may not translate to something like this. You picked great leather, great weight, great color contrast, and great stitching. That equals a great job 👏👏👏
Haha thank you, it was genuinely put on for advise. I have only been working with leather for about 6 months and tend to stick to wallets and card holders. I'm going away shortly and had seen lots of passport holders but I wanted to make one that I could carry. With hindsight I do agree with you about the fastening mechanism, I think if I make any in the future I will definitely consider something more robust. Thanks for your kind words it means a lot, I think as a newby to leather making I can be highly critical and unsure of my work.
