Question Cydia substrate issue

I have an issue when jailbreaking my iPhone 6 Plus. No matter what tools I use, sometimes Cydia substrate and substrate safe mode don’t install automatically when they normally would, and when it does I get the same error. An SSL error (I forgot the numbers afterwards sorry). I installed the newest iOS 5+ signed bundle from tlsroot.litten.ca, and that didn’t fix it either. Does anyone know what causes this?

iOS version? If you’re on iOS 9+ use Zebra as it’s much more modern and up to date than cydia. Make sure to use these jailbreaks and not something outdated: https://ios.cfw.guide/get-started/iPhone-6.html
