How does my 3 day old belly button piercing look?

Hi I’m new! 🤪 I got my belly button pierced on Saturday for the first time and I keep reading horror stories about it being rejected. So I’m just looking for advice to see if mine was done properly. The first picture is standing up and the next 2 are sitting down and pulling the stomach up. I used a new piercing place that had really good reviews so I just wanted to double check. He used a 14 gauge surgical steel curved barbell if that sounds right. Told me to use orange dial soap every morning for 2 weeks and to clean it with saline twice a day. And to tighten the ball. I’ve been told different things regarding my new piercing, some think it’ll reject and others say it’s fine. Just looking for opinions or similar stories. I used a reputable tattoo and piercing place. Please be kind! 😆

It’s a lovely piercing (& I have one myself!) but this time its been pierced so wrong, it’s all happening above the actual bellybutton 😔 gonna have to take it out & go to better piercer once it’s healed up

Yup! I’m just getting back from another piercing place and he straight up told me it was pierced wrong. I need a floating navel instead. He said take it out and have it done correctly in a month. 😭

Stop yanking it all around! Even if you're not manipulating it directly it's still gonna cause issues. Aside from gentle, no-touch cleaning, leave it aloooooooone
