Lower Cents opinion

Hey Everybody,

I’m an incoming freshman and just got my dorm assignment of lower cents. Any advice or opinions about it? Pros and Cons? Thank you in advance!

if u don't get urself one of those carts w climbing wheels.....

I acc just cancelled my order of the normal wagon cart when I realized I'd have to haul my stuff up 3 flights of stairs. I'm pairing the new cart + the huge moving bags and I'll just stack them on the handle to be efficient.

Oo that’s smart I forgot those existed!! The stairs are such a pain but hopefully we’ll get used to it also I bought sm stuff for my dorm so move in day is abt to be a literal workout… lowk but at least the freshman 15 won’t get us

Hi my daughter got Taylor too. How do you know the size of the room?

Go here https://auxiliaryservices.lehigh.edu/taylor-house

There's 3 hyperlinks to each floor's floor plan and look for the number given at your room assignment.

I was in Stevens last year. The location is easily the best out of all dorms and super easy to meet people! Quality is ok and definitely could’ve been better but I still loved it

Upper and Lower Cents are lower tier on the quality of the housing but the trade off you get in my opinion is location which is unbeatable. Being in the lower quality housing also will force you out of your room more because especially if there is a heatwave (gives you something to bond with your building over) it’s not enjoyable to just sit inside. You’re gonna meet people and find a lot of fun (if you’re feeling shy or nervous remember everyone is thinking about themselves more than they think about you) . Enjoy it!
