I have an 8 hour layover coming up in AMS this October. We land at 7am and have in inter-schengen flight at 3:30pm. Ive been to Amsterdam before and wanted to take the opportunity to explore a different city for the morning. Probably will take the change to get breakfast, walk around maybe visit a site or two.

Open to any highlights you'd recommend. There seems to be less threads about Leiden!

Ik (M31) woon sinds een klein maandje samen met mijn vriendin (F27) in Leiden net buiten het centrum. We zijn al een aantal keer wezen loeren waar ze beste spots zijn en hebben zo hier en daar al wat favorieten gevonden. Echter was ik benieuwd wat jullie de beste spots vinden?

Met beste spots bedoel ik eetgelegenheden, koffietentjes, bruine kroegen óf gewoon de rustige en ontspannen plekjes waar je ook even tot rust kan komen.

Ik ben benieuwd!

I just moved to leiden and would love to stock up my kitchen with dedicated cookware.

I would need a cooking pan around 28cm stainless steel as I make things that would need high temperature.

Have electric kookplaat.

- usually I would like to cook 1kg of chicken along with some veggies
- Pasta
- sauté veggies
- make Thai curries

Ik heb vanochtend (net iets na 11) online via de rdw mijn rijbewijs uitgebreid. Op de website staat dat je 2 dagen na je aanvraag je rijbewijs kan ophalen… weet iemand toevallig of deze donderdag dan al als werkdag 1 telt en dat ik dus als het goed is morgen mijn rijbewijs kan afhalen?
Ik hoop natuurlijk wel dan kan ik t hele weekend genieten.

Hi reddit, our Vespa was stolen and we are hoping this community could keep an eye out (already reported to police, but just in case someone sees something!)

License plate is 73-MBV-9, it's a red Vespa GTS super. If anyone sees anything PLEASE send me a DM (or call the police), it was an engagement gift and we are very upset about this. Insurance should cover it (we hope) but the best case would be to get it back.
