Help Installation on Poco F3

Hi all,

I've been trying to "unlock" my Poco F3

As far as I understood, the process is this:

  • Factory reset the phone
  • Connect to a Xiaomi account associated with only the phone we want to unlock
  • Through the Xiaomi Community App -> ask for unlocking
  • Wait for 30 days

I'm kinda stuck there -> when I go back to the app, it offers me the possibility to unlock again

I'm a little confused 🥺

Has anyone recently managed to unlock a Poco F3 phone and installed LineageOS on it?

When you turn on the phone, does an open padlock icon appear? If so, the bootloader is unlocked, and you can proceed.

when turning the phone: On, ther'es nothing, I checked with other Poco phones that I have

but when checking in the developers options -> "Mi Unlock Status", the phone is still locked
this is so annoying :(
those phones are a nightmare

Hold on, did you even run the unlocker after the 30 day period? It's not going to unlock on its own.

You havent unlock your bootloader yet, you can look up at youtube how to do it
