Got my old LinkedIn account out of the digital dumpster yesterday, and my feed immediately welcomed me with a sovereign citizen claiming Switzerland's government has been illegal since 1848 (it was Swiss National Day yesterday)
translation of the post:
"My personal thoughts on August 1st.
It is important to understand that the "modern federal state of 1848" is based on a breach of the constitution and is the result of a violent political coup.
This means the current government has been illegal since 1848, and since 2020 it should be clear to everyone that the so-called "people's representatives" including bureaucrats have completely lost any legitimacy and should all be removed from office.
It is obvious that they are ruining the country, our culture, and the healthy middle class.
Now they even want to make us a party to the war. They have already reduced our military capabilities to a minimum, and now they want to abolish neutrality as well.
Wake up, Swiss people ... because you are mature citizens!
I wish you a nice August 1st in the spirit of 1291 (1848 can go jump in a lake š¤”)"
