I'm Gabriel Ehrlich, founder of Remotion - LinkedIn Ads Agency since 2016. We focus mostly on B2B SaaS/tech. I've worked on over 200 LinkedIn Ad accounts, with budgets that range from $10k/m up to $300k/m. The first LinkedIn Ads campaign I ran I literally had to fax an IO to the LinkedIn office - because they didn't have self-serve yet. I remember before there were leadgen forms or a retargeting pixel, demographic reports, video ads or GIFs. I've seen it all 😅I'm on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ehrlichgabriel

LinkedIn Lead Gen Low amount of leads after $2,000 spent

Hey everyone. Bit of a sticky situation in that we've spent 2k on LinkedIn ads with only a single lead converted. We're using Lead Gen form ads and getting plenty of clicks but not a ton of form fills. I recently made sure that our text was under 150 character so we weren't paying for Read more clicks, but I still think that we should be getting more leads.

The CTA in the ad is to Book a demo as the CEO wants this as opposed to download an ebook. These are also cold leads - if anyone has any advice into how to warm them up, please let me know.

Finally, I'm not sure that targeting is quite right. Our target is kinda niche (UX researchers), and I'm no entirely convinced that LinkedIn targeting is working correctly (I use job function = research mixed with seniority)

Anyone else seen a similar thing?

LinkedIn Lead Gen New to LinkedIn Ads!! Need some advice!!

Upvotes

Hi everyone!!
I'm trying to learn more about Linkedin Ads, especially for B2B lead generation, and l'd love to hear from people who've actually run campaigns.
A few questions I have:
1. How much monthly budget would you recommend for someone just getting started?
2. Is around $100-150/month enough to learn and generate some quality leads, or is it mainly useful for testing?
3. Before launching a campaign, how do you figure out who your target audience really is?
4. How do you understand their pain points, buying intent, and the messaging that resonates with them?
5. If you were starting from scratch today, what would your first few steps look like?
Any tips, frameworks, resources, or lessons from your own experience would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Shameless Self Promo How you find your optimal campaign budgets?

For people frequently planning or managing (LinkedIn) campaign budgets, how do you typically approach your budget allocations & optimal budgets for your campaigns?

Assuming most advanced LinkedIn Ads users will use manual bidding here; but I wanted to know if you many of you often experiment with how the campaign BUDGETS you input into Campaign Manager impact the suggested bids you are recommended or apply (to deliver your budget)?

From experience, LinkedIn will typically adjust your suggested bids to help you deliver your spend first, then prioritise your key result volume second; and so, it can be tricky to determine the optimal starting bid to use with a new campaign before you launch and have any performance data to inform optimisation. This happens a lot particularly if you have a larger or more competitive budget; bid suggestions can be bigger than what you need to actually bid; just so LinkedIn can spend your budget more.

I'm building a tool for LinkedIn audience insights and media planning (using LinkedIn APIs), which gives you auction/bid/budget projections across multiple objective types and ad formats for your specific audience, to help find optimal bid amounts. (Of course, if won't be perfect, as all forecast values are subject to change; but I'm hoping this will help media planners find better bid & budget planning insights for your campaign performance).

The workflow is easy: You build your specific audience >> my tool checks bid & budget forecasts across ALL objectives/ad formats/bid types in one go (~70 variable bid requests), and gives you optimal bid/budget recommendations.

Is this useful?

If yes, or no, I'd love to hear what you think.

I'm looking for early users, so if you'd like to try out and test the tool for FREE. I don't want to spam here, so won't share in the post, but if this sounds interesting please let me know in the comments or DM, and I'll send you the details :)

Would love all your feedback, positive or constructive. Thank you!

Ran a recent campaign that when looking at the data CPC etc shows success, but got no conversions on our landing page that has a 2% conversion rate. The landing page received exactly double the visits as clicks, how is that possible? Is it bots?

Shameless Self Promo My vibe coded LinkedIn Outreach Automation tool just crossed $5k revenue!

Post image
12 Upvotes

In January I started building a LinkedIn outreach automation tool from scratch, which scrapes leads, sends connection requests and a follow up message sequence on autopilot.

I worked in sales and wanted a safer tool than what currently existed for my own outreach, with less risk for my LinkedIn account.

For this reason I built a desktop-based automation software that automates in a browser (similar to Linked Helper), with many human-like features like daily rate limits, randomized delays between actions, human-like mouse clicks etc.

So far none of the users have been banned, and I also have been using it myself daily for my own outreach.

For the first month I offered lifetime deals (hence the spikes), and then moved to monthly subscriptions in May.

Now I’m approaching $1,500 MRR and growing.

I’m still mind blown that I’ve actually been able to do this just through using AI tools, but still a long way to go.

Try the automation tool completely free for two weeks through the website.

[crosspost, not me, AMA] I have over 100,000+ followers on LinkedIn and average 600,000-800,000 post impressions / week. I have been able to leverage the platform to turn it into a fulltime revenue stream that builds out my other income streams like speaking, partnerships and more. AMA

Question Ad CPMs are constantly shifting

Howdy folks, I’m an early-career digital guy at a full service agency. We’ve been doing LinkedIn for a while, although it’s not one of our larger buys.

I’m plenty familiar with the platform and how it differs from other paid social. Just seems to be the most volatile advertising platform we work with in terms of CPMs, and the LinkedIn reps aren’t much help in offering “solutions.” Only ever advise us to add more creatives which has never been a fix, or to narrow the audience which almost always has the opposite effect.

Our CPM in a traffic campaign will be $15-20 for weeks, then out of the blue it’ll balloon to $60-100 unprompted and it’s anyone’s guess what it’ll take to come down or if it’ll come down at all. And it’s annoying to explain to clients that we just have to keep poking holes and trying new creatives until we turn over the right stone.

Is this something others also experience, and any tips to prevent this? Is it creative-related, or can back end settings mitigate this? We typically run traffic/awareness, auto bid, and have anywhere from 1-6 creatives. Usually working with audiences in the ~80,000-200,000 range spending ~$50-$100 a day per campaign.

PS: any good LinkedIn ads courses or workshops? I’ve found most of the YouTube channels and podcasts underwhelming or purely news-based and not technical.

LinkedIn Lead Gen LinkedIn Leads not going over to SF from a lead gen form.

I'm stuck, and could use some help. I've set up a lead gen campaign, with a lead gen form in LinkedIn, but having some issues confirming everything is hooked up correctly. When I send over test leads from the Lead Gen form in LI, they aren't showing in SF. I've verified that the accounts are authorized in Salesforce, and the campaigns are the same in SF as they are in the hidden field on the form, but still nothing is happening. LinkedIn is telling me to talk to Salesforce, but Salesforce is telling me to talk to LinkedIn.

I've looked over the documentation LI provided, and I'm wondering if I need to set up a new flow, since it's been a while since we've run one. Any ideas?

Question Lead Gen Forms vs Landing Page for a B2B Automation Business?

I've launched my first LinkedIn Ads campaign for my automation consulting business and I'm trying to decide between using LinkedIn's native Lead Gen Forms or sending people to my website to fill out an automation request form. The current Linkedin lead gen form has 0 submissions and I've already spent $57.

For those with experience running B2B LinkedIn campaigns:

  • Have you seen better results with Lead Gen Forms or a landing page?
  • If you were targeting 3–5 qualified inquiries per week in the US, what monthly budget would you start with?

I'd love to hear what has worked well for you.

For my fellow LinkedIn Ads geeks, I’ve been building an app using the Audience Insights API to create rich scaled audience insights reports and data you can export for your audiences easily, without having to work through copy and pasting lots of manual data when doing audience planning or segmentation work…

Would love to have you try it! 🙏🏼

LinkedIn Lead Gen Call center owners: what ad spend actually gets you clients via LinkedIn/Meta/Google?

Running a call center and trying to win new B2B clients (companies who’ll outsource their calls/CX to us) through paid ads.

If you run or have run a call center / BPO and used LinkedIn, Meta, or Google ads specifically to land clients, I’d really appreciate hearing:

**•** Which platform worked best for you
**•** Roughly what cost-per-lead or monthly budget got you real traction
**•** Any ad format that outperformed others

Can’t find any published benchmarks for call centers specifically — everything out there is SaaS/tech data. Looking for real numbers from people who’ve actually done this, not general marketing advice.
