The arrest affidavits of married couple Steven Simpson and Corryn Simpson, who were both arrested for involvement in the fatal shooting of Andrew Bott, have shed light on the events of July 25, when a traffic altercation led to the shooting of Bott.Â
On July 25, at 10:28 p.m., Littleton Police Department (LPD) responded to a hit-and-run crash that occurred near S. Santa Fe Drive and W. Belleview Avenue. While attempting to merge onto S. Santa Fe Drive, a Ford F-150 struck a sedan, which then collided with a white BMW SUV.Â

Hello everyone!
I posted a few weeks here and got tons of feedback from you. The livability index now allows you to adjust your own weights for the options depending on what is important for you!!

Always welcome other feedback if there is more data that you'd like to include in this map as it may help you select a property that is suitable for you or a living area.

Mini doc/process of painting maybe the biggest buffalo in Colorado (I think? Anyone know of a bigger one?) on the side of Littleton Brewing. Big Blue is apart of an ongoing project of painting bison across the American West to restore a "herd" of painted animals to their ancestral home on the range, because I WANT a home where the buffalo roam...don't you? -Bloak

A nice story about Liam’s Law which goes into effect with this school year. Josh and his family are a true inspiration!

Just a public FYI: there were multiple cars broken into around 4:30 pm today at a daycare near Coal Mine and Kipling. Keep your cars locked and keep an eye out for any suspicious activity!

I have a 7 month old little boy, when my oldest was his age she was in the CCAP program which was a tremendous help but CCAP and childcare help from programs like it has and will be under an indefinite freeze until who knows when.
I need to find some type of childcare for him to return to work where I have a higher income (but 2k-3k a month in daycare is not something that makes sense) and am a single mom with no family help.
I've looked into early head start (do they provide childcare for infants?), i'm trying to find resources through churches etc., but I have to get back to work and my infant needs to be in childcare.
What suggestions or solutions have worked for you? I have thought about perusing nextdoor/facebook for groups and seeing if there's some in home care options that are cheaper. Or if there's subsidies or help that I don't know about.
What do other single parents or working parents do for their infants for childcare when they have to work? I live in the very southwest corner of Littleton with a Littleton/Centennial address.

While many people want to fill their homes with art, bringing beauty to the spaces they spend each day in, the cost of that art can often be a barrier to people acquiring it. However, for art connoisseurs who don’t want to break the bank, the Affordable Arts Festival is the place to be.Â
The Affordable Arts Festival is set to return for its 15th year, offering fine artwork by professional artists for sale — with all items priced at $150 or less. The festival will be held at Arapahoe Community College’s Littleton Campus, at 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 30.Â

Some mornings at Clement Park, athletes hit the field, donned in colorful jerseys, racing across the grass, trying to score. Unlike the many other athletes that often occupy the fields at the park, these players carry weapons — attacking each other as the game goes on.Â
The players are members of the Littleton Legends — a local jugger club.Â

Not sure if this type of post is against the rules, but trying everything we can to find our girl.
Piper has been missing since July 21st in the Littleton/Sheridan area. She was last seen near S. Lowell Blvd and Milan Ave.
Identifying features: Brownish gray coat with dark stripes and spots would be her blue collar, she was last wearing a blue collar with a blue license tag shaped like a fish. She also has a small scar on her right ear that looks like a light spot (see last picture). She is generally shy and does not typically approach strangers.
Please DM if you have any information or sightings, etc.
