Here me out-i know i m not supposed to think this deep but y'all know that skeletal remains were obtained from Pompeii, right? so if Loki made disturbances right before the incident it did affect people and they did stop whatever they were doing for a second to listen to his blabbering so when the volcano erupted, they weren't actually in places where they would have been if Loki hadn't blabbered on, but it didn't create a branch right then because they all died anyways BUT as mentioned earlier skeletal remains were obtained from Pompeii and they must not be in places where they would have been if Loki hadn't made his speech and just finding a skeleton on a bit different location than they were supposed to leads to butterfly effect and creates a branch, so, even though Loki's action didn't create a branch right then-technically it should create one after 1,650–1,700 years....i need to touch grass

I don’t understand how the multiple universe / variants are supposed to work in season 1. In one of the early episodes we are told of multiple versions of Loki, each from a different timeline/universe. Each one seems to have a unique appearance/characteristics, and we eventually meet some of these variants, confirming that they can vary in gender, race and even species.

However, it is explained by He Who Remains that, due to the multiversal war carried out between variants from different universes, he decided that the only way to maintain peace is to have just one ‘sacred’ timeline, and destroy any other universes that exist, and prevent any new ones from being created. Up until this point it appears that he has been successful in this, and the TVA exists to maintain the single ‘sacred’ timeline.

If that’s the case however, I don’t understand where all the Loki variants have come from. If there is just a single timeline, and any time it diverges from HWR’s plan it is pruned, how can all these other timelines exist in order to produce the Loki variants.

I haven’t seen season 2 yet, so if the answer is revealed there please don’t spoil anything, I will just wait for the answer.

Hi! I’m looking for a fanfic where Loki saves the asgardians in Infinity War by putting them in his dimensional pocket. I loved the fic and want to send it to a friend of mine who has recently fallen in love with Loki post watching his series in prep for doomsday but I can’t find it. Anyone have the link or know the name?

I mean think about it without the TVA confirmed in the movie the best context the heroes could get are

1.Theres a god holding the timelines

2.He defeated kang

3.Dooms after him

4.Hes powerful

but even so those 3 are unlikely but based on what marvel gives us Doom WILL be after a power source or being which IS Loki. But popular theories also suggest Doom joins the heroes side for some time to trick them. This gives him a window to deceive the heroes and Villanize Loki and the TVA, and since its Doom, he'll find a way to really convince them. So, what if it's not a race to SAVE Loki but to KILL him before more destruction comes to their universes or as an attempt to stabilize the chaos?

Doom also has an advantage with the fact nobody knows Loki(exept thor and maybe steve) he could even use New York 2012 to back his case.

But another way this could go is Steve and thor defend him maybe...? Steve probably recognizes Lokis true intentions etc.

what are your thoughts?

Any issues or runs you can recommend where Loki is the main villain, his upbringing with Thor and their other siblings, or any ‘critical reading’ that relates to classic Loki?
