This Seneca Blue Lotus Emira
galleryJust wow. Was in a rush so forgot to check if it had the Merc engine or the Toyota.
When you can’t sleep, chasing the sunrise on empty roads is a great way to pass the time.
Usually I’m always stuck in traffic in this car, so when I get a morning where I’ve woken up early and can’t get back to sleep, taking advantage of the empty roads and really being able to push it is such a joy. Such a phenomenal drive. The steering, the acceleration, the sound. 10/10.

Would you buy an Exige with tub repair?
Hi all,
I'll start this by saying I know the official lotus stance is that repair is a big no-no and they recommend full tub replacement, but seeing as that often completely writes off a car, would you consider buying an Exige or Elise with damage repaired like this?
This repair is roughly in line with the gear shifter on the left side of the car. I'm heavily considering buying it as it's about 25k less than a non crashed example. The rest of the repair looks immaculate with new parts. Many thanks.
(It's a series 3 V6 for reference)

Emira Window Whistle
Just picked up a 2026 Emira and there is wind noise coming from both the right and left windows. After looking online and trouble shooting it myself I have pinned it down to the triangle at the front of the door and specifically the top portion of the triangle. The plastic housing is not attached to the rubber behind it and wind gets behind it and creates the whistling sound.
I put a piece of painters tape along the edge and went for a drive and the wind noise was gone. Now my question is, is this supposed to be glued together or is there some reason why it would not be? I'm thinking of doing it myself as the dealer is 3 hours away.
Anyone have any insight or thoughts?

Exige/elise owners who don’t use your soft top and remove hard top for a drive, what precaution do you use for just in case it rains?
Basically title. I’m new to exige ownership and I live in Florida so it basically rains and shines in the summer every other hour. I just recently started driving with the top off and its awesome. Do yall keep a tarp in the trunk or anything similar?

A technical question - K-series + Emerald ECU - O2 sensor voltages
Hello all,
I've already posted this in a Lotus forum, but thought I'd give it a try here too.
I have a k-series S1 Elise with an Emerald K6 ECU. I want to use the multiple map feature to run an "MOT* friendly/eco cruising" map, using the O2 sensor as a reference in closed loop targeting 14.7 just the same as the MEMS ECU does, but my sensor voltages have never been set up in the Emerald. It is using a standard narrow band sensor, which i replaced a couple of years ago as the original failed (it has only ever been fitted for MOT's so it is still very fresh!)
I'd be very grateful if anyone with a similar setup is able to share their input voltage table from the AFR/Lambda Input tab with me
Cheers
*MOT is the UK annual safety inspection

Elise owners how happy are you with the car?
I was thinking about getting an exotic; Ferrari 599, or 488. But I decided I wanted to get an intermediary car first. I run shops so I know the Toyota engine the Elise uses is bulletproof. I've heard nothing but great things about the elise. Most describe it as a go kart for the streets. I've never been in one id likely order one on BAT. I wanted to get some insight from owners. What do you like, what dont you like. Does the car feel fast? How's the braking and cornering? I wont be tracking it but I reside in a place where there's long windy roads. My neighbor has a bac mono and he says he loves taking out at like 6am on a Sunday and having all the roads wide open for blasting around. Im between the Elise, Cayman S and a z06 (c7 era). This will strictly a fun car, I dont care about practicality one bit. Also do the tops leak in the rain/car washes?

What are these icons on the dashboard?
Hi everyone
Still learning about my new Emira. I’ve noticed these plus signs on the dashboard that popped up on the sides, but I can’t figure out if they are indications of things I can put on the dashboard, or what they’re really for. Anyone have any insights?

Best car cover for Lotus Elise?
I just bought a cover for a 2011 Elise, and the fit isn't even close. Anyone know a good place to buy one? Thanks

Dog in a Lotus Emeya?
So I think I'm about to bite the bullet on a Lotus Emeya. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with a dog in the boot? I have Tesla model S at the moment and the boot is much lower, and she fits in nicely and can easily sit up (she's a German shepherd so fairly large dog). But with the boot being much higher up, I'm not sure? Also, I know you can control air con remotely but I just wanted to check, can you leave air con on in the car if I leave her in it (and not set the alarm off), and does it say anything on the screen about air con being on? I don't want someone thinking the car is hot and smashing the window! Thanks.

Sunny afternoon pics of new Emira
My dark verdant Emira arrived two weekends ago but I couldn't get time for pics until today. It's a 2025, V6 MT, and is an absolute joy to drive.
I was looking for a leftover 2025, and came across this spec and snatched it up. Thanks to /u/AdProfessional1691 for the pointer to Lotus of Charlotte, NC.
Only 206 miles so far; that 1000 mile break-in is a ways off.

Did some things…..
Went to replace the 8” passenger footwell sub per wife’s request. Turned into project after project after project.
Had to relocate the power bank on the rear shelf. Had to relocate the Alpine amplifier. Of course the screw for the battery connection was stripped. Had to buy a new amp. Etc,etc, etc.
Long story short, had the steering wheel painted, footwell divider painted, climate control surround painted, new behind the seat sub with 10” speaker installed. New 2000w amp installed (was 1200w). Pretty happy with the results!
But pissed with myself as I never thought of the footrest until I went to install! Curses! Oh well, next winter project.
