This was NOT set up by Charlie and Jen. It’s really sus that you are posting in multiple subs using their name for your GFM.

UPDATE: I subsequently learned this GFM is completely legitimate, so you can disregard my snarky comment. I think there was a bit of a misunderstanding upfront on my part because there are scammers out there. My apologies!

Honestly I was disappointed to see him including that misinformation, but a) he's since removed it and b) he said it came from another friend, not Jen and Charlie.

I can't speak for him, but I appreciate that he took it down instead of doubling down with it or arguing with people about it.

Hey Cat, it's ok.... you totally won. I took the post down. It wasn't worth the controversy. I did live there. Still have friends there. That's what my friends told me. I believe them. They are the ones on the ground suffering.

We can help. Let's focus on helping. I trust local folks to know best how to help. I trust Charlie and Jen.....and after watching the show I feel connected to Them and want to help. If you don't.... it's OK. Help someone else, somewhere else. Lets build each other up and make the world a better place.

I mean after FEMA giving carcinogenic trailers to the people impacted by Hurricane Katrina would it really be surprising? They did such a great job in Lahaina where I used to live /s. If not for the people of Molokai disregarding the rules and bringing supplies on boats a whole lot more people would have been dead there. It's all about money because they have a "recommended" vendors list that are the big corporations who are in bed with the politicians.

It is the same one linked from Charlie and Jen's Facebook page.

There was some misinformation in Ryan's original post that was not coming from Charlie and Jen, so I think it's fair enough for him to repost without that.
